  The CONSCIOUS CLASS what does it mean to you, and do you consider yourself one of them?

  there's a few posts where the term "conscious class" has been in just recently.. i'm wondering if it means the same to most jws and exjws who post here.. what does the "conscious class" mean to you?.

  ok, no funny business about 'being conscious' as in awake and fully cafeinated.. if you could answer the two questions it may help some here to understand what.

  this term is a lot better.

  i once went door to door with a 300+ lbs (fat) elder and the first guy who came out told him:"you should look like him" pointing at me with his finger.at first i didn't realise what he was talking about.at the end the man said to the elder clearly:"lose that fat and get thin like that young man (me)"the elder got embarassed and said "ok i will" (never did tho) but i couldn't stop laughing .

  I always wanted to write a book of the 'things' people say when they come to the door...one woman said to my ex 'ooh sorry but I cant stand ' and he responded 'wow are you levitating then?'

  sorry if this starts off as a kind of a downer.. i am 29, and my husband and i have stopped going to meetings since last october.

  we live in mexico and used to attend the english.

  long story short, after realizing how many much we've been lied to we stopped going to our meetings, moved out of the territory, switched to spanish, and after a month of attending just vanished.

  Welcome HereIam....as people have said ...it will get better for you just keep marking time sweetie and follow the good advice yea? This forum is lovely I havent been here long either and the people are understanding and kind with no conditions on their friendship....congrats on your baby...start smiling, you have so much to be happy about ....

  I just had my first child

  baby girl, 6 lbs, 14 oz, 19-3/4in, looks like me they say.... still in awe... there were some complications, but mom and baby are doing good.

  baby's down the hall in nicu and it still doesn't feel real.. .

  Can the internet apostates bring down the WTBS?

  i saw a thread on another forum suggesting this...based on all the info so readily available to so many nowadays...its certainly true that the society is warning all the witnesses about it.... what do you think?

  is it possible that it could seriously affect their status?

  for the majority of my years in the truth, the "new light" did not bother me at all.. i reasoned this way: "the faithful slave is imperfect, right?

  logically they're going to make mistakes.

  the main thing is that they're trying to do god's will they best they can and stick as close to the bible as they understand it.

  Once again I assert that they're giving Jehovah/God/the Almighty ...a bad name...now via the holy spirit...

  I agree with the premise that with the 'new light' clarifications should by definition be something that was seen previously albeit 'cloudily' but now has become crystal clear. Their new light theories are after all based on Proverbs 4:18 which I seem to recall states that the 'light will get brighter'.

  This would not ever tie in their methods of saying one thing and then changing it and saying the opposite, or something entirely different.

  i love chicken pie.

  the calories are terrible for a pie crusted chicken pie dinner but i love it.. and i love milk chocolate covered candy such as raisinettes or raspberry chocolate candies..
