IF you have been DF'd recently.............i want to know.....

do they tell you "legal requirements" of a df'd behavior?

like, you cant talk to anyone, if we hear of you talking to other members it will hurt your reinstatement, do they tell you to come late and leave early, do they tell you how to be reinstated, what kinds of things if any are covered after you are told you are being df'd????

do they tell you their basis (loose scriptural right) to take this action?

Here is something to wrap your head around:

Why does it matter? If you're announced as 'no longer one of Jehovah's Witnesses'......what does it matter what you're doing at all? You're NOT a JW while 'df'd'.......so why can't you just walk up and say "I would like to be back in?"

You shouldn't have to discuss your associates or habits....because they said you weren't a witness.

Oh...throw this in for extra mind tweaking material:

the Bible is ONLY for the ANOINTED.....so why are the DFing 'other sheep'.....we don't partake, we are just 'associating' with Christ's brothers, right?

Yeah............amazing the lies you get caught in when you just make crap up, huh?

Horrible conduct by congregation Elders at my cousin's funeral.............

my cousin passed away last week from cancer at the age of 49. the cancer spread so fast it took our family by surpise.

we figured she had a couple of years instead of months.

she left 4 children(3 were baptised and 1 was disfellowshipped a couple of years ago).

perhaps this has already been addressed, i looked ... i thought you might want to know, not much time left ..... harold camping .... some time after being released from a nursing home in june after suffering a stroke, camping, released an audio message on family radio's website saying, "we would have not been able to be used [by god] to bring about the tremendous event that occurred on may 21 of this year, which probably [will] be finished out on oct. 21 that's coming very shortly.

that looks like it will be ... the final end of everything.".

Better to live the JW "life" or live the christian life, die, and be resurrected?

this is a question i've been wanting to ask.

i'm not sure if i understand their whole "resurrection" teaching totally.

but it appears that to any jw's who may not want to be, or any others for that matter, dont have to be baptized in the borg at all.

I used to wonder why I shouldn't just walk into a mall and start shooting......all the while yelling "...you will thank me later!!"

It would be a more effective way to get people into the "new order".....because field service wasn't working.

What's the first thing you did when you got out?

i was thinking about all the things i missed out on growing up as a jw.

many of those things i will never be able to do anyway, like join in any extracurriular activities or go to senior prom.

but one of the first things i did when i got out if the borg was join a ballroom dance class and go to a nightclub with some of the students in the class.

and on top of that being told that you were going to live forever on paradise if you followed their decrees..

Tuesday, September 11, 2001 - The Day My JW Faith Began to Die (finally)

it was late june of 2001 that i was appointed as an elder at the amazingly seasoned age of 26. a true lifelong goal had been achieved.

i had to be appointed an elder before 30. already, peers were starting to be appointed.

i had to make it.

WOW....this is the best post I've ever read on here.......selfishly, I admit......because you and I have lived parallel lives. I too was a 'hot shot' elder at 27....... I felt like I was reading MY STORY....... I got goose bumps.

I too was that 'popular, loving elder'......who really cared......and found out after my appointment how many elders are addicted to porn, how many are flat our alcoholic drunks, cheat in business........and the pedophilia???? My god, I taught the part at Kingdom Ministry School for elders..... and it ripped my heart out.

I left in Feb. 2009........from WT Conductor, Book Study Conductor and the seemingly appointed Chairman of all Judicial Committees one week......to totally disappeared in 7 days......I realize now that they also "took me and molded me into their own"..........they took my personal gifts and used the hell out of me. I feel used..........and so angry inside.

Thank you so much for posting this......I'm sitting here in pieces right now. I'm not alone..... reading your story made me actually realize....I am .....Not.......alone.............

I'd like to get to know you and your story more......
