They would be if anyone cared about their opinions.
I think we have all learned that the universe could care less about this group..... they're just silly and sad......and also dangerous (blood, shunning, etc.)
would the jehovah`s witnesses be a shoe in , for the most about face , flip flop , of doctrine , beliefs , and practices in this 21st century , to have previously strongly held beliefs and then for them to be discarded in their 140 ?
year history ?.
i think they take the cake .. smiddy.

mealy mouthed article in the may study wt here:.

tacit approval to bribe, oops, i mean "tip" your local governmental official so they can grant you a cartilla card, or whatever else you might need done..
This situation alone shows that being a JW is anything but an 'innocent' choice.
You're endorsing torture and death.
Sickening for those of us that grew up in the '70's
have you heard that old chestnut?
i have.. typically it's the last resort when you have dismantled a jws beliefs and they have no way of defending them.
they know they are beat so they come out with that one.. its effectively an admission that you are right and they have no argument but they are still going to attend meetings because they like the social club.. what a lame way to defend your faith..
Yep I've heard it.
I then ask how they feel about telling people to make life and death decisions based on 'old light' and how would they feel if they let a child die that could have had a blood fraction.
As you can see their face turning ......I then ask them how people feel about those that walk into a theater and yell fire, resulting in people being hurt or even killed. ....as they ponder, I then let them know 'that is what JW's have been doing for the last century".....
There is nothing 'innocent' about being a Jehovah's Witness. You're telling lies, damaging psyches and in some cases, costing people their lives...both physically and mentally.
this is the way crisis of conscience should have been written.
finally, a book written on the watchtower society by someone who actually knows how to write!
after reading the subheading, “the psychology of jehovah’s witnesses,” (pages 160–182), i have abandoned the belief that we have an “unconscious,” and will never again consult any psychologist, psychiatrist, or counselor.
Interesting, I wasn't aware of this book.
...and the Insight Books have bit the dust.....apparently not very 'insightful' anymore.
LOL
in our congregation there are now more ex-elders than current ones.
(probably very common).
what i notice most of all, is that the ones who were the best speakers (we actually had some good ones) are the ones who have all stepped down.. i'm of the opinion the better teachers recognize its all a joke, and can't be bothered to reach out again.. so the ones left who are taking the lead are the most boring ones available.
YES.
100% true in my former congregation, as well as the entire 'circuit'
It's fascinating.....the best speakers/teachers end up quitting or leaving....interesting to see someone else observe that.
this is a damn serious question.
you must know by now that jerusalem was not destroyed in 607 bce and that 607 was initially picked by ct russell by using his "pyramid scheme" measurements.
there is no hiding these facts yet you continue to preach this nonsense.
To further the question.....how evil do you have to be to preach lies to people and bring them into such a 'religion?'
Anyone who does is seriously morally bankrupt.
Being a Jehovah's Witness is NOT an innocent decision. It harms people.
truth is absolute.
there is no such thing as 2=1 or 1=2.. if one starts out with the equation 2=1, one has already failed.. truth = truth.
you cannot change whether something is truth or not.. when the organization teaches one thing as a truth (ex.
My message has always been: "what are you afraid of?"
Read 1 John 4
so as many know....ive been df'd goin on 19 years already.
i drive pops to meetings, and drop him off on saturdays for fs.. well yesterday, the elders ask to speak to me, and tell me that if i plan on returning to jehovah, i had better shave my beard off..
omg!!!!!!

jehovahs witnesses have been criticized by community leaders for not fixing up parks in dumbo, brooklyn, as promised.
.
They are always "loving their neighbor" aren't they?
LOL.....they are so pathetic.
i remember going out with other jws after the memorial.. small gatherings.. picnics at some local landmark.. the feeling of closeness, camaraderie, friendship with like minded people you could trust.. haven't experienced it since i left.. really miss that..
I remember my fellow elders and their wives getting hammered on wine following the Memorial every year.
Yeah......I don't miss that. Or them. At all.
