Aside from how dumb it all is.....I can't help but think "wow, this get's elders out of having to give talks".....90 minutes of staged drivel...... no one has to think anymore, come up with illustrations or motivate. Just pop in the movie.

But even better... I want them to take this little drama further and show the dad getting hammered and see his daughters taking turns having sex with him.... you know, like good old Lot did.

I'm guessing they aren't going to show that part in modern day terms, right?

i pretty much did it all.

vacation pioneered as a youngster and became a regular pioneer out of school.

i became a ms then an elder.....the organization pushes you to be somebody within the confines of their realm.

Elder for 11 years; MS for 5. Watchtower Conductor for 8 years.

Used heavily at District and Circuit level, especially for talks. Taught at Kingdom Ministry School (Elder School) including extensive instructions on child abuse. SICKENING!

Walked away in 2009. A complete waste of youth.

I still get amused at their belief in "Universal Sovereignty"

How many here would watch their children brutally raped, sodomized and killed...over, and over and over and over........century by century ..... watching your child scream out to you in terror, begging you to save them ..... because a bully moved into the neighborhood and challenged your manhood? You wanted to prove to the neighbors that the bully was wrong.....so you pull up a chair and watch as he has his ways with your minor children? You in fact give him permission to do it..... just to prove your 'name.'

Stupidity doesn't even capture this one.......

Business Slow at JW Literature Trolley

yesterday i stopped at a local shopping center to pick up a few things.

i arrived at 9:45 am and two jw ladies had already set up their literature trolley and had opened for business.

but i didn't see anyone stopping by and taking advantage of their free literature.

I was in Anaheim on business.....I watched a man and woman sit at a cart in downtown Disney until 8 at night. No one talked to them. Just touri\sts walking by........I just can't believe how bad this has gotten

It seems that many witnesses simply dont care about facts?

i often wonder if the current crop of witnesses, especially the youth and younger ones simply don't care about facts?.

i mean for some, even with knowledge of the past scandals, misleading teachings, mistruths, etc etc, they simply don't care.

"it is the truth after all".. they are so intertwined in the operations and activities of the society, that they cant see anything outside of it.

They are the laziest group of people I've ever seen. They do NOT care about the facts. The vast majority couldn't tell you the basics about this 'religion'...and it can lead to major frustration for those that are trying to wake them up.

It is the main reason I stopped taking calls, writing eBooks, blogging or anything else. Most have NO clue what you're even talking about.... from 'generations' to the Australian Commission....yes it is chosen ignorance......but still..... collectively..... the dumbest, laziest people I've ever known.

for instance in this weeks study article one section reads:.

in years gone by, we believed that jehovah became displeased with his people because they did not have a zealous share in the preaching work during world war i. we concluded that for this reason, jehovah allowed babylon the great to take them captive for a short time.

It's interesting to read all of these responses. However, here is what I believe to be the truth:

99% of the JW's that read this never knew the original belief, ....they don't study and never did..... furthermore, they attended this WT Study, then left the Hall and couldn't explain this either.

Seriously.... test it out.... ask a JW about this. They will look at you like you have three heads.

Jehovah's Witnesses is for the lazy. For those JW's that truly study? They're in this forum.............. and no longer JW's.

We saw two tables in October.....one down by ESPN Zone and one by the Lego World....I was seething....but my girlfriend wouldn't let me approach and completely destroy their garbage.......off we went to a place filled with magic and wizards.....

....you know, you can be Jehovah's friend if you're outside the park, right? A JW would never go into Disneyland, right? What would Caleb say about throwing away Sparlock?
