  My Old Living Room(Pic)

  this is my old living room that i grew up in.

  it wasn't painted until years later.

  notice the little table, it was made by one of my uncles.

  What a wonderful childhood you must have had!!

  Most of us today would love such a life for our children.

  kids would play in the woods, jump over gullies, climb trees, swing on vines, play in the creeks, build brush camps etc. It was a good time to live, no TVs, video games, computers or many toys. We had to use our imagination and make many of our play things. We didn't wear shoes in the summer,

  My own parents grew up on large pieces of land and so when I was a child they moved us to the country to live. We had horses, chickens, rabbits, steer, raccoons, and even raised or cared for wild animals such as baby owls that could not be returned to their nest, a wounded hawk....etc.....the list goes on. We felt free but not as free as 300 acres worth! Your childhood must have been an adventure!

  Doesnt it feel awesome that someone else raised their children there?

  elders will be doing a shepharding call in 10 minutes...why we have not attended meetings in so long.

  i want nothing to do with the organization anymore....pray for me that i can keep my strength against them!

  I am so happy to hear you were able to hold your ground!

  I think everything should be ok since you were never a Baptized JW.

  You are so right about this board as opposed to being a JW.

  When I cam here I could not believe how many are so genuinely interested in me as opposed to the Fake interest at the KH.

  At The KH they are just trying to win postulants and once that is done they are no longer concerned about you as a person.

  In your case I think they didnt even wait for you to be baptized before showing their true colors.

  Glad you escaped The Borg.

  i was talking with my brother the other day and he asked me " what were you suposed to do when you got a nose bleed?

  if the blood runs down the back of your throat.

  " he said that technically that would be eating the blood in the eyes of the jw's.

  LOLI went through that in a away as a JW.

  I had a tooth pulled and my gums would not stop bleeding all night!!

  As a JW I kept spitting and wouldnt drink anything because I was afraid to swallow my own blood! (I was Soooooo brain washed!)

  Anyway, turns out that blood had not technically left my body yet and there for I could swallow if needed!!

  I was so embarrassed!! I had been dehydrating over it!! lol

  Laughing now at my stupidity but it was serious then.

  I think nosebleeds would fall under the same standards. Didnt leave the body so it is ok.

  Weird, right?

  You grew up in this home Undecided!!

  Looks very homey and down to earth.

  I love the fireplace.

  Your home reminds me of Abraham Lincolns home where he grew up. We went to see it one year. It saw cozy and small. Cooking, eating, and living room area were all in the same room!

  I think this kind of living makes for closer families and have made some of the most creative minds in America!

  Is your childhood home still standing? It would be awesome for future generations to see and have family gatherings at.

  Thank- you so much for sharing. I am showing my children your little piece of history.

  If youd like to write a bit about your life there the children and I would really enjoy it.

  hey guys,.

  i was wondering if you have a response when you present stuff about pedo, un, rutherford, etc, and a jw says, "well they are imperfect people.. the last respons i got was, only jesus was ever the perfect channel of god - which of course i agree.. but it's like if you ever bring up anything about anything, the stock response is, "we'll it's an imperfect organization.... your response???.

  My response is that when I was a study I was told to investigate my Religion and look at their works. How they had a form of Godly devotion but proved false!

  I also point out that this excuse would be the same for any Religion not just Jehovah Witness.

  Lets be honest the WTBS is blood guilty and even accepts some pagan practices among their members.

  I have also pointed out to people that The Bible says you will know them by their love and The JW Religion doesnt have one program for orphans, widows, or the poor in general!

  You can go to Christendom when youre poor and needy and get help.

  For JWs it is up to The Individual JWs to decide what you need or dont need.

  I have a whole list now I go through if someone will listen.

  I showed this one sister not long ago some of the BLINKING LIGHT. Told her for instance abut divorce. If it is ok NOW to divorce an abusive husband it was ok back THEN but back then a woman could get DISSED for doing what she felt was right!

  You should have seen her face!

  In away I felt bad for this particular sister how I handled it because this is not the only Truth of The Troof I laid on her.

  I was told this sister went home and cried. She is still a sister, she has not left.

  Something I wish to share that I learned is we can get pretty emphatic about what we have learned as Apostates.

  At least I did.

  So basically, I learned You shouldnt just blow a persons world right out of the water all at once!

  They need to learn The REAL Truth just as slowly as They Learned The Troof or it wont be retained and The Shock can be too much.

  This is a great thread you started confuzious.

  Im looking forward to seeing others responses.

  been doing some web searching, today and stumbled across this guy prophecies, visions, occurrences, and dreams from jehovah god, jesus christ, and the holy spirit given to raymond aguilera.. some of you may already know about him, don't know, just thought some would find it interesting that in the '90s jehovah, jesus, and the holy spirit decided to annoint a new fds.
