This article is very interesting still it would make all who try to reach out and commune with their creator bad or narcissistic.
The narcissist becomes God by observing His commandments, following His
instructions, loving Him, obeying Him, succumbing to Him, merging with
Him, communicating with Him
Trying to get to know the one who made you and all things does not make a person bad, controlling, manipulative, or abusive to others!
Some persons such as myself have chosen to make our relationships with the creator very personal. I believe relationships are best one on one. There for there is no one I can impose my will on in the name of God. If someone asks me why I do things a certain way I can share that and they can decide for themselves what they wish to do.
We do have a family bible reading but my children are allowed to decide what they believe and share it with me.
We allow our friends to believe as they chose with no ridicule or judgmental lectures.
Would we be considered narcissists? We do our best to observe Gods commandments, follow His instructions, and love Him. Obey Him, succumb to him, and merge with Him. And yes through prayer communicate with Him.
Although, it is true people use others wish to be close to their creator as a tool to abuse and control others. Not all who wish a relationship with God are bad.
Just thought Id ad my 2 cents.
Ciao 4 now,

P.S. Reminds me of so many of the 'true-believer' JW's, especially the males. Oh Dan..quite a few elderrettes where true blue narcissists through and through! Wielding their condescending power left and right! Men do not own the patent on evil! Sweet of you to imply so.
