  so yeah--i've been riding the same train of i'm-in-love-with-a-jw for about two years now.

  i've said in previous posts (posted a long time ago) that he wanted me to convert.

  he never said so out right but his habit of linking our conversations to the wt convinced me that it was important to him.. well, i tried to let everything drop for a long time and didn't really keep in contact.

  Stories Of Wife Abuse In The Organization!

  there are so many.... i remember my exfather inlaw...ben regan, he was made an elder in newport r.i and that's enough to make you doubt the whole holy spirit thing right there.. i was sitting in his living room one sunday and the phone rings...some poor black sister just got the crap beat out of her and she was crying to him on the phone, she was looking for help.. ben said.

  "well you must have done something really bad to make him so mad at you...i know but...what you need to do is just have another beer and forget the whole thing"....good by.. thank god must women are not putting up with this anymore, from their husbands or religions that really don't care about them.

  Its alive and well in my congregation. Me, as long as I play the stepford wife, things are just peachy. I did try to talk to the elders once - complete waste of time and i will never talk to them again.

  Welcome Helen, Get some help for yourself. I'd would live at a woman's shelter before I'd let some man treat me like shit.

  i was told today by a heavyweight elders wife, both of whom were at bethel for many years and are very well connected to the brooklyn brass, that all brooklyn bethel operations will be moved to wallkill and patterson.

  in fact, there is a very exclusive walk-through next week for some of the top real estate investors/developers who will see all the properties, starting with the sands, and its lobby has now been remodeled to look just like a high-end hotel..................just fyi.................................oompa

  When the lights go out on the "READ YOUR BIBLE DAILY" sign the Tower will need a replacement for the farm. My suggestion is, "WHAT HAPPENS ON THE FARM STAYS ON THE FARM."

  Ok, so my mom came over today... Part 2

  everything was going fine.

  i was surprised when she didn't say anything about my confession to my dad yesturday that i didn't believe 5 or 6 billion people are going to die at the big a.. so, anyways, i took that to be her accepting of how i felt.

  i told her that it bothers me how they put some awful pictures in kids books like my book of bible stories.

  I wonder what she's going to do with the Dr and prescription information? Maybe you should take her with you the next time you see the doctor or you could insist that if they do have an intervention, that you have support that understands what you are going though.

  JW weddings gone bad. A story from my old congo.

  middle tenn late 70s.

  first there was the child the high school girl had out of wedlock.

  the term rape was bandied about after she began to show.

  this was in the 70's in a Sacramento CA, congo. A sister and brother get married at the KH. Everything seems to follow JW protocal up to this point. They split up on the wedding night during the honeymoon, and are never seen together again. The rumors went on for years, never did hear what really happened.

  Story #2 also in the 70's, Hayward CA. A young couple are engaged to be married, a few days before the wedding, the son dies in his sleep from heart failure. The groom-to-be's mother, insists that the young girl NOT move on with her life, and to stay single....as the end is sooo close that she is sure, that Jehovah will make an exception for the two of them and allow them to be married in new system.

  Always wondered what happened with these people.

  Our friend is gone now

  i am new to this forum but the reason i joined is because im fed up.

  the death of one of my wifes friends was the last straw.

  she was a faithful sister who was loyal to her husband children and friends and they found her dead in her car about a month ago.
