it was the same weekend that my mom and dad, to my surprise, agreed to meet with me.
i was in midland, michigan, about a month ago, only an hour or so from where they live.
in the airport on monday morning, in walked john, someone i remembered well from the jw congregation of my youth.

i'm looking for tips.
i usually shop at a commissary on a military post, the other day i went to a civillian store and found eggs for $3/dozen, milk $5/gallon and bread $3/loaf!
well even on post it's still expensive.
I buy cans of beans on sale. That way, I end up with cheap groceries, free gas, and a nice warm bubble bath before bedtime.
that was just gross and uncalled for....men Both my husband and I work less than a mile from where we live, and we don't work at the same place. We've talked about walking, but never do. When grocery shopping, the menu is usually what is on sale that week, and it's not going to hurt either of us to cut back, a little, ..or alot. I wish...I used more coupons...but I forget. lisa
i know that has probably been covered ad infinitum on jwd.
so...... if jehovah is omnipotent, then there is nothing he can't do and nothing he doesn't know.. and, according to jws (as well as most other religions), god is love.
therefore he had to have known, even before creating all of creation, what would happen.

i was sitting here and reading her and her husbands post the last few bits and i often think of this woman for she is very inspiring.

she has this bubbly smile and oozes of confidence and good things that just warm the heart.
I meant Cruzanheart and BigTex in Florida a few years ago. I think she asked me where she could find pancakes, we were staying at the same hotel. She didn't know who I was at the time...but I knew who she was. Very Very lovely people.

i would like to encourage all of you to put your old wts to good use by creating an even more hostile environment for the wtbs.
when you dine in a restaurant out-of-town or one that you will probably not be returnng to, rather than leaving a tip just leave a wt or awake with a note that jehovah's wisdom is worth much more than a tip.
i promise that the server will spread the word about "those damn jws" .
this is only a slightly funny idea.
I always go to the same restrauants because I get to know my waitress' and waiters and the give extra nice service...I want them to get being extra nice to us.
Plus...being a waitress before, I know how much they make and a WT will NOT help them in anyway and is kinda cruel.
Maybe it would be funny if the waitress was a JW.

back in the day, there was a chat feature...and you could see who was in chat and there was ALWAYS someone to chat with. ..so it was never lonely.

in all my years of studying douchebaggery, never have i encountered anything like this.
its such pure and unadulterated douche that i wish i could bottle it and use just a drop of it at a time.. the back story on this is that a girl named olga was out with her friends in the marina district of san francisco (known for being a popular hang out for douches), and she talked to this guy named dmitri for all of two minutes.
I'd wait until 3:10 and call.....set up a lunch date and then stand him up.

i live with my hubby and children outside of my native country.
we will be going home for a vacation soon after many years.
we're faders and most of our jw relatives have adopted a don't ask-don't tell policy about our decision and we are perfectly fine with it.
