Rubadub ... LOL ... I meant he went right to bethel after graduating homeschooling. 😂. They don't talk to me. I wasn't invited to the wedding (not disfellowshipped), although my wife and daughter were.

Interesting That in the Regional Convention They Are Asking for More Volunteers to Bethel
by RubaDub infor those of us who could sit through the program so far, i did find it interesting that they are again asking for people to apply to bethel.. i happened to speak to a friend who called and asked him why they would do that.
his response was that, well, they need younger people there.. i guess once you are over 50 or something you are eligible to be sent out to pasture..

My nephew was sent back to his home congregation during the COVD shutdown. Maybe it has something to do with his getting married last year too. He's probably 21, no skills.

My wife seems to become more aroused with herself when seeing the My Pillow Guy on TV. Is there possible JC involvement?
by RubaDub ini know we are living in the "last days" of this system of things, but it is getting creepy around the house..

Probably a judicial committee should be formed to discern her heart condition on the matter. If her heart has crossed the line it must be dealt with.

Food Boxes given out by Society
by JustChillin inanyone else get a food box delivered by local congregation to your door - allegedly by the society?
weird.
i looked online and found a couple of youtube channels saying the society is taking food from food banks and giving it only to their congregations.

It's not that the program itself is a bad thing. I imagine it is the government buying products to distribute to people with the intention of providing assistance to the farm industry.
My issue is of course with the organization
1. The hypocrisy of the religion. This shows them to be just like any other religion that is used as a tool by the government when it is convenient for them. Neutrality? No part of the world?
2. The selfishness. They do nothing for the community. They provide no service to any other than their own (even that is rare), any help to non-witnesses is simply collateral goodness.
There was a time, many years ago, that my family was in need. Low income, couldn't afford oil to heat the house, electricity about to be disconnected, I was directed to St Vincent DePaul and the Salvation Army.
I was terrified to go there for help. This was after all Satan's organization. Of course, the direction from the brothers was that Jehovah uses these wicked things to benefit his people too.
Thanks to those religious charities, my oil tank was filled, my electric bill was paid, they filled us up with groceries, and I was able to get back on my feet.
What surprised me at the time, neither one asked me my religious affiliation or required me to attend any services.
Since then, I put money in the Salvation Army's kettle.

Crazy! We certainly don't need it ... and her apostate husband hasn't been to the Kingdom Hall in 9 years! The Borg is always ready to take a handout.

LOL ... My wife got her food box delivered today. Thanks for the insight. Had I not seen this I wouldn't have known what was going on. An elder apparently called her and asked her "fruit our dairy" she had no idea why he was asking, he then shoes up with a box of food. ???

PIMI wife is not like normal women or mothers who have that natural affect.
by goingthruthemotions inis it me who thinks this.......jw pimi or pomi women lack natural affection toward there children, family and human's.. it must be the indoctrination that strips these emotions.
i see it in my wife all the time, when she talks with non jw people she is like "meh" i got to talk with you.. when she talks with jw people, she has a cult emotion like "yes my people" .
she is screwed in the head, the more that time goes by i want to leave her and get a divorce!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've noticed this with my wife too. She loves out children without a doubt, but it's different. It seems to lack genuine closeness and affection.
I was a convert to the religion at age of 20 .... I had started dating a cute non-practicing JW girl in high school, yep, I got sucked in ... But I had a fairly normal, happy, loving family life, so this lack of love that I observed didn't seem right, but believing it's the truth let's you tolerate and excuse the inexcusable.
Being able to cut off a child at the direction of a religion, it's hard to comprehend. I never had to do it, I wondered at times if I would be able to if that time ever came, I'm glad it didn't.
Maybe some JW parents keep the parental relationship somewhat emotionally distant for that reason.
