No, I wasn't saying that. But for one to be considered a Christian John 13:35 requires them to be loving people. I know alot of loving atheists, agnostics, muslims, jews, etc...

Jehovah's Witnesses - Are they loving?
by brotherdan injehovah's witnesses love to claim that they are a true religion because they are the most loving people on earth.
they rant and rave about how they apply john 13:35 to themselves.. in a recent conversation with djeggnog, i was shocked at some of the hateful things that he was saying to me.
now i know that i have been in some pretty heated debates with others, but i try to never make it personal.

And now you're dissing Jehovah's organization as if what things you know as to the meaning of certain things in the Bible you didn't receive from Jehovah's organization, so "why do you boast as though you did not receive it"? (1 Corinthians 4:7)
That's my favorite comment. Everything I learned from the Bible from "Jehovah's organization" are things that I'm having to "un-learn". Whether you believe the bible to be true or not, the fact is, the Watchtower twists it. So no, I'm not thankful for the teachings that they gave me as a child.

This djeggnog guy must be a REALLY angry person. Seriously angry. How sad to live your life like that. And how is what he says showing Christ-like love? It sure isn't. I'm ashamed that I was in the same organization as this character.
It's funny, because by his response you would think that I wrote him a mean letter. I sent him a message that was NOTHING but encouraging. And non judgemental.

Now I know that I have been in some pretty heated debates with others, but I try to never make it personal. But notice some of the quotes of one of the only JWs on the board currently, "DJEGGNOG"
You knew God, so you are going to die. Are your prepared to meet your God? Well you'd better "get ready to meet your God." (Amos 4:12) This is a meeting that is not going to go well for you, @brotherdan. You really should have left when you said you were leaving, because you cannot handle the mind-numbing influence that JWN can have on weak minds.
You couldn't possibly have used any of my arguments when you were associated with Jehovah's Witnesses. You are a fool, a fact that distinguishes you from me.
You wouldn't know even half of the things you think you were able to learn on your own by ready and studying the Bible for yourself without the help of Jehovah's organization and the Bible-based publications that you studied once upon a time. And now you're dissing Jehovah's organization as if what things you know as to the meaning of certain things in the Bible you didn't receive from Jehovah's organization, so "why do you boast as though you did not receive it"? (1 Corinthians 4:7)
If I were to tell you that I've been an elder for more than 20 years and that in all this time met I've never had any former Witness think that they could actually get away with saying what apostate things you have said to me. what would you say? I will expose you. Would it make you happy to learn that I think your mind to be "in the grip" of God's adversary and mine? If your mind has been totally overtaken, then you will never repent, which means that when you die, you are going to be dead forever.
You're living in a delusional state. I should feel pity for you, but I cannot really describe what I feel about you.

I don't think anyone would be sent home
That's what I'm saying. If someone contacted Bethel with the info from the show, and then old Johnny was back on a subsequent episode, then we would know that he's full of it. Although I guess pretty much all of us except Rick realize that fact.
On the conference call he says that those that doubt Johnny's claim to be a bethelite have only speculated and have not listened to the shows that Johnny has been on. I have wasted countless HOURS listening to the show with Johnny. Others and I have been at Bethel. And it is the unanimous conclusion of EVERYONE that has been at Bethel that Johnny cannot possibily be a bethelite. He has too many of the fundamentals wrong. He doesn't talk like a bethelite.
I think the highest probability is that he knows someone at Bethel and can use some of the lingo. But the things he has wrong are TOO wrong.

Here's the real test:
One of us contacts the service department at bethel, and gives them a link to the conference call where they can hear "Johnny's" voice and that he "works" with Jackson and Losche through the IT department in Brooklyn. They can track down this so called "Johnny". If he calls in AGAIN from Bethel then we will know he is full of crock, because they would kick him out in a second if they heard what he says. If he calls from home...then oops...we got him sent home. But he seems to want that anyway.
It's amazing that they are doing so much to keep this newboy at bethel! Even threats and throwing women at him! Amazing! When I wanted to leave I just told my overseer and wrote a quick letter. Maybe I wasn't important enough for them to kill!

last day at the kingdom hall
by ex-Special Pioneer inprologue.
get out shouted the audience you must be ashamed of yourself.
the crowd was in a hysterical state, every time that we tried to say something we were silenced by the clapping and screams which got louder and louder of the majority of the two hundred people in attendance.

I agree that it should expand to a 2 pager, with 2 timelines. But something good to note, I like that you use WT quotes to show that all the dates supported by history are ACTUALLY supported by the WT. That makes their 607 conclusion even more confusing. Basically they just take 539, tack on 70 years and then subtract out some months to get to 607. What thorough investigation they've done!
You're on the right track. But it's true that you should fix the diagram a bit. The connector lines are placed a bit too haphazardly.

What's Your Favorite TV Show Right Now?
by minimus ini love criminal minds and the newest criminal minds that was showcased last night.
and i love law & order svu!.

Harry's Law surprised me with how much I like it. I think, "What a good show" after every episode. So that is probably my favorite right now. Although the critics reviews of it have been HORRIBLE. But I rarely agree with the critics for whatever reason. Maybe I'm too stupid to know a bad show?
I also love The Office partly because it is hilarious and partly because we tend to stay home on Thursday nights to watch them.
Modern Family is the best sitcom to be on tv ever. One of the guys, Cameron, reminds me SOOOOO much of Laverite on this board. He's so funny and awesome.
Of course I should include American Idol. It was getting really old for me, but I REALLY like Steven Tyler this season.
Lie to me is a genious show and I usually really like that.
