um, wasn't the "special tract" that was being placed in october and november suppose to cause great outrage amongst false religion, in particular the catholic church?

weren't theys supposed to demand that the government ban jehovah's witnesses?

surely something would have been written in the newspapers or be on cnn about all the governments of the world going ahead and banning all religions, or did i blink and miss that?

i think bush's method of fighting terrorism only creates more terrorism.

the us government has acted like a terrorist to the people in iraq, such actions canonly lead to more justification in the minds of would be terrorist.

i hate when people use the "i'm new here" excuse, and then do absolutely nothing to try and find out what you are inquiring about or at least transfer you to someone that can help.. what are some of your "customer service" pet peeves?.

The only way to get someone at Home Depot to help you is by tackling them as they walk by you for the millionth time.

Obviously this must be an isolated incident/store. With the two HD's we have in town, the folks working there are tripping over themselves and bugging us if we need help in finding something. I generally know what I need when I go to HD, so I never have to ask anyone for help. It kinda bugs me that each time a rep walks by they say, "Are you finding everything you need?" Of course, there will probably be that one occasion where I need help and no one will be around.

Can you list these impeachable crimes? I mean, c'mon, do you REALLY believe that Bush knew full well that Iraq DIDN'T have WMD yet went in front of the world and claimed that they did?

Let's look at just a couple of items.

Mr Bush told Mr Blair that the US was so worried about the failure to find hard evidence against Saddam that it thought of "flying U2 reconnaissance aircraft planes with fighter cover over Iraq, painted in UN colours". Mr Bush added: "If Saddam fired on them, he would be in breach [of UN resolutions]."
Mr Bush even expressed the hope that a defector would be extracted from Iraq and give a "public presentation about Saddam's WMD." He is also said to have referred Mr Blair to a "small possibility" that Saddam would be "assassinated."

Firstly, what is the legality surrounding the issue of painting US military planes with UN colors to provoke an attack? And is it ethical, or even legal for that matter, for a head of state(such as Bush) to suggest or even order the assassination of another person?

The Downing Street memo lists plenty of "fixes." For instance:

Bush wanted to remove Saddam, through military action, justified by the conjunction of terrorism and WMD. But the intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy.

"...justified by the conjunction of terrorism and WMD." ??? Again, where is this supposed link between terrorists attacking the USA and Iraq? If the link is not there, the only way for it to appear is to fabricate one. It then only makes sense that the "facts were being fixed around the policy."

It may take yet another several years or decades before we truly know why GWB wanted to invade Iraq. Was it to spread democracy? No. To liberate the Iraqi people from an oppressive regime? No. These two explanations were given to the world after the fact when the idea of finding WMD's didn't work out the way they wanted it to. GWB says that God is using him. Fine. Whatever floats your boat. "Far-leftists" claim two possible reasons for the invasion. One, to establish a stong foothold militarily within the region. And two, to control the natural resources(oil). We shall see several years from now how Iraq will become beneficial to the USA. Will Iraq become the next launching site for yet another military campaign against a predominantly Muslim country? Will Iraq's oil flow more cheaply into our reserves and refineries?

I just still find it hypocritical of Bush to target a country based on spreading democracy and establishing human rights all the while he lets Saudi Arabia continue on without any repurcussions. I just don't get it.

I say have the schools offer both classes or none at all. This way, a student can pick one class between the two based on their own personal/religious beliefs and not be forced to take only one that could seriously offend them or their parents.

This idea, of course, is worthless if the schools incorporate ID/evolution into their biology classes(as my high school did). If I recall correctly, when my mother found out that we were going over evolution in my biology class, she wanted me to see if I could be excused and go to the library. I do know that I placed two Evolution or Creation books with my teachers.

Do the FDS use Spiritism to contact the '24 Elders' and the 144000?

the watchtower has always, in its publications, talks etc warned against contact with spirit creatures!.

jws are notoriously terrified of anything that might even remotely be to do with spiritism.. however, i find it totally bizarre that they can accept 'spirit guidance from the 24 elders' as an explanation to how the holy spirit guides the fds!.

i would, in simple terms call this a form of spiritism.

I have asked GB members how and the answers they gave were that they read the Bible, prayed for understanding, and as a group came to the best conclusion pointing to the Bible account in Acts regarding how the conclusion on circumcision was reached.

That's strange. I do not remember reading about a 2/3's vote on the circumcision issue.

Astonishing Publisher Peak in Britain for August 2006

well i just got the new kingdom ministry for december and it has the publisher peak for august: 129,482!.

that is quite an amazing total when you compare it to the trend of recent years:.

2006 - 129,482. i wish i could produce a graph, but you get the picture - there has been a dramatic increase in the publisher peak number this year compared with the recent downward trend after the 1995 "generation" change and subsequent stagnation.

my friend's ex-husband was killed instantly in a car accident on sunday.

my daughter actually probably knew him better in recent years than i did, as she would accompany their daughter tori to his house on his weekends for four-wheeling, fishing, etc.

i have never been to a viewing before.
