  It must be "Global Warming"

  snow in malibu yesterday.

  this morning i had to scrape the ice off my windshield and back window.. on the way to work i saw many a frozen front lawn and most cars were covered with ice like mine.. all on the outskirts of los angeles.. it must be "global warming".. warlock.

  Why did all the 'Ice Ages' in the past, end?

  For every one scientist who can "prove" that there is no global warming, there are ten who can "prove" that it is occurring....and vice versa.

  No one knows why the Ice Ages ended, or started for that matter. There are no human records from those time "periods." Again, for every one scientist who believes what may have happened, there are ten others with differing viewpoints. We really only have a hundred years of hard scientific data to go off of. Anything else has to be taken as a "best guess" from digging into the ground.

  The way I see it, the local congregation is getting a fine witness from this man. Praise Jah!

  My Wife Just Left Me Because of the Evil Watchtower

  this is very difficult to write because i am crying.

  i am normally not the kind of person you will ever see cry because things don't affect me that much but this has got to be the hardest things i have ever went through.. i just got through discussing with my wife my feelings.

  i guess it has been hard to hid some of the things that i have felt since i have learned that many of the wt teachings are false.

  Is the Watchtower beginning to lose its grip on its members?

  i have seen a counsellor on and off since leaving watchtower land.

  she has made efforts to find out more about jehovah's witnesses.. we were discussing why my jw family (not my husbands' they shun us as if we smell bad!!!!

  When broken down by age, more teens (74 percent) than preteens (66 percent) agreed with the statement: "I would be happier if I had more money to buy more things for myself."

  Not exactly the statement the gb wants teens in the hall making, eh? If you're pioneering, don't even think of having such an attitude!

  Princess' Polar Bear Swim

  she will probably kill me for posting these photos, but i can't resist.. last thursday, our rachel (princess here) and one of her friends decided to dive into a local lake and do a polar bear swim, despite the fact that the temperature was in the teens and there was fresh snow from the night before.. here are a few photos.

  you can see the snow on the ground and notice everyone else is bundled up.. .

  Freaks. I've sort of been in that situation before but not for the swim. Once was an early season of kayaking on the Blue River that comes out of the dam on Lake Dillon in CO. The water temp is usually around 36-39 degrees at that time of year. I got rolled up and had to pull out - dumbass me didn't think a drysuit was going to be necessary that day due to my extreme kayaking skills. I barely made it over to the shore. My skin was turning blue and purple. The other cold water "event" I thought I could breeze on by was the Spring Splash at Winter Park, CO. They set up a big obstacle course on the slope and when you get to the bottom you have to launch off a jump and try to ski aross the large trench they have dug out. The one time I did it, I simply wore shorts, a tshirt, and my ski boots. Quite a few people in front of me never made it across. I knew I probably wasn't going to make it either so I just did a heli off the jump and landed square in the pond. No one helps you get out, so you're trying to walk out with your skis on in chest deep water. To give you an idea of how cold that was - there was plenty of snow floating on top of the water.

  I feel for anyone who accidentally falls into near freezing water. I do however laugh at anyone who complains that the water is cold when they jump in on purpose! I could never do a polar bear club swim these days. Twice similar is enough for me.

  has anyone called bethel to confirm that this is an official proclamation?.

  a few 1000 phone calls might get some attention... probably cause warning talks on getting your information thru emails instead of publications ... i know some of you here do call bethel on occasion..just wondering if anyone has called to ask about this latest stuff..

  A BROTHER HAS CHECKED WITH LEGAL AT THE BRANCH AND HE SAID THAT IT WAS NOT TRUE AND WAS "BEING HANDLED" AT THIS TIME.

  LOL. The r&f check with LEGAL to see if this is true??

  Just goes to show that the legal dept really is running the show these days.

  SKYPE - ANYONE

  i am sure there has been a thread about this but i downloaded skype - (free) and i have a webcam and a microphone so i can call friends and family in europe who also have skype and i can talk and see them free of charge - really cool.

  anyone of you guys got skype?
