  jw takes blood over plasma in b.c.

  this is an interesting read.

  recently, in my same small city, chiliwack, b.c.

  a court case was thrown out re a woman who died from complications during birth.

  had gotten that surgery in toronto I would have had HIV

  that is not a true statement. That is only speculation. And a scare tatic to think getting blood transfusions are bad.

  When you had your surgery done in 1988 the blood was tested. Also it was tested in 1994, but obviously some people are not honest about their history, especially medical history, and people still get transmittable diseases from blood transfusions. Should that mean we should avoid blood transfusions, even when life threatening, because we may get a disease from blood? Should we pull all our teeth because we may get dental carries?

  The symbol for life is NOT more important than life itself.

  My daughter has a brain tumor :(

  i am so terrified!.

  #2 daughter came home from college on 12/18 with a violent headache, nausea, neck pain and great fatigue.

  we took her to the dr. on the 20 and again on the 21st as she had kept nothing down for 3 days.

  take a deep breath and remember to stay calm and love your daughter.

  I'm sorry you have to experience this horrible condition. Especially in a daughter, any child is hard. Take one hour at a time, one day at a time. It sounds like you are in good hands and time is your enemy right now because you want everything done and over.

  ok, i guess on the 28th or somem i was rough housing in the living room and i slipped on the xmas tree skirt.

  i knocked myself real good, but i didn't think anything of it.

  before new years my back started hurting, but i figured i bruised myself.

  i'll try to keep this as short as possible but this is a brief of my history with the jw's.

  i was not really raised as a fervent jw but my grandmother was a fanatic.

  every summer as a child i would go and visit my grandparents and so wha lah i got 24-7 jw indoctination.

  How Many of you were bitten by a dog?

  i use to think that going door to door had its hazardous moments, but the time i was bitten by a dog wow.

  that was scary.

  i still can't figure out why the mutt bit me as i love animals.

  I love dogs and cats.

  But when I was 13, going door to door with my best friend then, a vicious German Sheperd was barking like crazy and the old lady put him in the back yard. Well, he came storming through the house, breaks down the front screen door and goes for my throat. I instinctively put my left arm up to protect me. And then chomp, he bites my arm. My dad came running from across the street. We call the police, have the dog impounded, I was taken to our doctor, who cleans the wound, and puts a Q-tip 1 1/2 inches into the puncture wound before bandaging my arm. Yep I still have the scar.

  But I wasn't afraid of dogs. I would still take the doors with dogs barking in the rurals years later.

  I'm just glad I don't have to be protected by the Service Angel anymore. Thank dog.
