jon and i need a vacation.
we got married in vegas and that was the last time we got away from everything and had fun (3 1/2 years ago).
we live in orlando, so i suppose at any time we could do vacationy things, but i'm thinking i want to do something or go somewhere out-of-state or at least out-of-city.
how about a cruise?
I need to get an apostafestcruise going. Hmmmmm, maybe this will get me motivated to start now for this fall.
Where you go, SP, have fun.

this note bears the image of andrew jackson, 7th president of the us, 1829-1837. as president, he got congress to pass a law that evicted all native indian tribes from all territory east of the mississippi river to the west.
the cherokee tribe living in the state of georgia chose to file suit against the us government instead of going on the war path.
the case went all the way to the us supreme court.
I highly recommend reading Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee. I picked it up this summer while traveling through South Dakota. It can only be read in small pieces at a time, imho. It is so heartbreaking to read of all the autrocities that was done to the native americans.
Interesting point, Amazing, thanks.
for the new ones on the board now.
as if i wasn't already completely stressed out about my daughter's upcoming brain surgery, not to mention being executrix of my mother's estate (and she left a lot of debt), i just learned the day before yesterday that my father-in-law has colon cancer, and now today.... today i learned that my 35 year old nephew, my deceased sister's only living son, is suffering from congestive heart failure.
the cardiologists have told him he only has 10% function left.
they cannot even perform a catheterization to see whether or where arteries are blocked or valves are diseased.

omg, gal, I don't know how you are going to cope. But just one day at a time, one moment at a time, one foot in front of the other and breathe.
All I have are hugs for you. Please take care of yourself in all this.
Hugs,
Joy
our present bathroom is awful.
squalid, dank, mildewy, just awful.
so, i'm gonna build a new one this year.. hmm...but.
Any comments about a 4 inch pipe not being any good for someone with a 5 inch asshole anyway, will be ignored.
lol, love those sphincters!
i can be pretty bad - but who is the most cynical on this board?
bwhahahahaha
i have been reading a book by karen armstrong entitled: the battle for god.
in this book she relates the history of the big three religions, christianity, islam and judaism from about the 1400's to our day.
i highly recommend this book for everyone here to read.
One simple point I liked in Karen's book about the history of God was that El was the name for god. Thus Bethel now makes sense. There was no "jah" in that word. So "house of god" is house of el.. . . Bethel.
And Moses would learn the "I AM" since none of his ancestors knew him as such. Jehovah was one of the 70 sons of EL and thus the Isrealites got to know Jehovah instead of El.
Oh well, I'm impressed easily.
