  Just curious - is apostasy grounds for divorce?

  i know only adultery is supposed to be grounds for "scriptural" divorce.

  i'm a wicked apostate in their eyes, but my believing husband and i still can't get a divorce that would allow him to remarry.

  we currently are separated - i have left him.

  There were 78+ xJWs there from 3 or 4 different countries. It was so much fun and I have lots of pictures but as I look at the pictures there are some who have successfully faded and I sure don't want to cause by problems after so many years (can you say cult)!!!!!

  Sanity, (brace for the hurricane ;-) )

  The Florida "meet up" was in the panhandle, Panama City Beach. We had a great time, included a halloween party. Simon, Anghard and their kids came to visit from England.

  Organize one for your area and see who shows up.

  Thank you for sharing her memorial.

  Condolences to her family.

  I met Grace in PA, at one of the conferences she attended after "chatting" with her via internet. She was a remarkable woman and helped hundreds of JW's leaving the cult.

  She will be remembered in my heart.

  I went and saw Snowden this weekend. Not to minimize your feelings because you are right, we go through a tremendous amount deprogramming from a cult. But seeing how a whistleblower is being treated by a mighty nation, ostracized to a foreign country, may help put in perspective your situation and realize there are others enduring worst situations.

  Unfortunately it takes time to heal. And it doesn't help that you are continually dealing with family and friends still stuck in the cult. Give yourself permission to grieve and explore what is out there without guilt.

  All I can say is it does get better.
