Is the Watchtower nothing but one big scandal?
by sabastious ini often find myself trying to put together a mental list of the good things about the watchtower.
when i was a witnesses that list was long, but as i moved away from the organization all the items on that list started blurring from fantasy into reality.. it seems apparent to me that the watchtower is nothing but a huge scandal spanning over a century.
what a concept, a century old blatent lie.. old list of jw virtues.

Moshe: Sad but so true IMHO also...
For some people who have weak social skills the KH might be a more desirable alternative for them.- in the KH people can get respect for doing worthless WT busy work every week- and the more hours of it you do, the higher your rank is in the KH. It's all a matter of perspective and as long as you never leave the KH, you have the luxury of delusion, i.e., you are better than everyone else in the community, because the WT leaders say you are. I think it must be very hard right now for JWs to feel good about themselves, as the public's viewpoint of them is only getting worse.

Flight zone
One of the most basic concepts in handling sheep and other livestock is the flight zone. All animals have a flight zone. A flight zone is an animal's personal space. It is where the animal feels comfortable and unthreatened. When a person is outside the animal's flight zone, the animal will turn and face the handler.
It is best to work on the outside of an animal's flight zone. If the flight zone is penetrated too deeply, animal behavior can be unpredictable and dangerous. Sheep are not large, but they are quick on their feet and strong for their size. Pile-ups can result in small enclosures, causing injury to the animals, especially the small or weak ones.The size of an animal's flight zone varies. It depends how wild or tame the animal is. Sheep that have not had much human contact will have a large flight zone, whereas pet sheep may not have a flight zone. Sheep confined to a small space will have a smaller flight zone than sheep confined to a large area. Frequent, gentle handling tends to diminish the size of the flight zone. At the same time, sheep have excellent memories and can remember rough handling.

OMG...I just went to http://www.jw.org/index.html and downloaded the mag and read the article.
- Nothing is put into print without having a double purpose.
- This is intended to state what happens or will happen to those who do not do as they say (not as the bible says).
- No normal (real) person talks like this: At times, other sheep were inclined to follow a disobedient one.
- Do what we say or be Df'ed...if you don't conform God (GB) will kill you at Armageddon!!!

911 AND MY BROTHER AT BETHEL RINGS ME TO SAY TAKE COVER

he said this is it and the great tribulation had started!!
i was at work in liverpool in the uk on that day and i was shitin it when he rang my mobile.. i then had a call from other my brother who was df 3 years before but some how he was shitin his pants also.

Everytime something like this happened I thought it was the start of the END...Just stopped getting too worked up over it if it was.
I used to get all worked up and start saying "what if...this or that..." and speculating how it could lead to the End... so sad.
