Almost daily I still hear people I work with call it the "truth" so the word must not be out or no one really listens.

i post on a couple of forums and read and lurk and all that stuff.. a theme that seems to be gaining momentum is about how the gb are 'tightening their grip' and 'becoming more cultish'.. i don't read the publications anymore and oddly i read extracts of them on the forums.. punk is babbling now.............sorry...................my questions are (sorry if they're a bit long.

when it comes to cults, jehovah's witnesses have a very strong hierarchical leadership system.
in many ways it enforces their control on the individual.
one of the tricks is that the lower levels of followers never get direct contact beyond the circuit overseer level.
A good practice would be when speaking about “them” --“GB” would be to use their name(s) not their title…

nowadays, the wt knows that it needs to tread gently when they execute their mind control tactics... modern jws now have iphones, facebook and better access to information in general.
so their approach needs to be as subtle as possible.... jws in the 50s and 60s, on the other hand, had nothing but freddys ongoing barrage of guilt-inducing wt articles.
heres a small sample of what jws were exposed to during that time.... ...we shall march forth organized theocratically, knowing organization procedures.
Information readily available will make it harder to control, abuse, and get over on people...BUT they have to be looking...
Although they say if something is working why change?...Only when it stops! I think it has stopped for getting new recruits. So change is in the air.

i know there is going to be a backlash to skipping the memorial and i want to be ready.
i actually drove by the kingdom hall last evening, just so i could say i came on passover and nobody was there.
this will initiate a watchtower worship session where they drag out all of their "scholarly" research.
Start with a question:
If it's about not going to the Memorial..ASK;
If you are df for not following an unscriptural requirement then you know you are dealing with WICKED men---who know they are ---and you should deal with them as individuals because they are representing or enforcing what they know is wrong or should know...THIS MAKES THEM PERSONALLY RESPONISABLE and ACCOUNTABLE. Deal with them as you would anyone who is trying to bring harm to you and your family.
You may not like this but...if people would stand up for what is RIGHT there would be LESS WRONG! (Reremember world war 2)

met a few friends who also don't give too much about it and had some great laughs afterwards.
we talked about how we still remember when only about 7000 took from the emblems and now its more than 11000. we also laughed about how it would look like having jesus and his disciples pass around wine and bread on a plate like that.. all in all it was the same procedure as every year.
