Wow! I can't believe they said the new magazine makes it simpler for people without "deeper knowledge" to read so they don't have to ask questions about what a certain word means and waste paper explaining! Puh-lease!!! Who makes this crap up? At least the old Watchtowers backed up most of their "points" with a scripture unlike the Kool-aid edition.

Audio: Witnesses reaction to their private Watchtower being called "Koolaid Edition"
by kurtbethel inhere is an audio clip from a study where the witnesses are handing out a watchtower and awake, and promoting their benefit.
then the householder asks about the "koolaid edition".
one of the acts surprised and the other one quickly goes into damage control mode trying to explain the term.. very funny, sweet beverage indeed!.

We are not false prophets
by Cook My Socks UK inbelow is the outline for a talk on the service meeting this week, i guess to help ones to answer the objection / accusation - how would you refute, if this reasoning was used by a jw at your door?.
have not jehovahs witnesses made errors in their teachings?.
jehovahs witnesses do not claim to be inspired prophets.

They fit the description of false teachers Jesus warned about in Mathew 23.
They have self-appointed seats of authority, filled them with their own ideas, and their own regulations in addition to the law of God. They burden the R & F with all their rules just like the Pharisees did. They outwardly appear moral, but are really hypocrites. They've been living a lie for so long they are desensitzed to their hypocrisy.

Letter from an anointed reader who DA'd after 33 years
by Dogpatch indear randy, early this year i requested disassociation from the org and have been meaning to publish some sort of statement.
i was a member for over 33 years and partook of the emblems.
being an older widow it took some deliberation and guts to make the move but am currently very happy with the change.

cant believe how much i have learn in a week!
by bez inthis site has opened my eyes.. i am suprised as a one time 'do gooder witness' that so many on this site are still 'active' jw's!
and all the time i was a witness i really did not think that anyone would dare even look at such a site!!!!!.
i am also suprised at the number of people in the same situation as me, and the number of people who actually feel they have something to live for now they have left the org!.

Craigslist!
I would try and save up and go to IKEA for nice bookshelves, tables, and decor items. Sometimes Walmart has nice looking furniture too, and cheap plants and pots.
How much do you have to spend?

To new non-believers to JWN (they need guidance too)
by cyberjesus ini wanted to make a few comments to those of you that have recently begun to question or have already left the wt and made their way onto this site.
this site is a great resource to learn how others are coping with leaving the organization and moving on into a fulfilling life.. i wanted to write this post because i think reading something like this would've been helpful to me to understand where a lot of people that comment on this site are coming from.
"who hold the truth in unrighteousness.

"...the times we are living in..."
by bez inso, just had one of our 'elders' ring to see how we are getting on and if we need any help etc.. when my hubby was honest and said we were ok and that we had decided to just move on with our lives and our family right now and concentrate on that and nothing else, but thanked him for their interest and care over last few months.... he replied by saying, ok, he would let the body of elders know this???
?, and he also reminded him to not forget "the times we are living in".... my husband told me the conversation after coming off the phone and now i feel, after being on a high the last couple of weeks (despite coming off my anti-d's cold turkey, drs orders) , i feel now actually really crap, quite scared and once again like i am making a bad decision for my kids... what is wrong with me!!!.
