  Im not expecting him to come with an earthquake. I dont believe armagedon is a one day event that kills all the bad guys. I think armagedon is a series of events that exponentially get faster leading up to the end. Listen to the ending of "a day in the life" by the beatles. That is the sound of armegedon to me.

  Although no one knows the day or hour. I do believe it wont be a surprise. Like pangs of labor on a pregnant woman. You dont know when the baby is coming. But you do know she is pregnant and that her contractions getting closer are an indication of birth. Might be 40 hours might be 10 minutes. But this girl has started showing signs of popping!

  Trying to reason "living on earth" and not "heavenly hope"

  a witness trying to reason with me throws out a doctrine supportive question like "don't you think it makes more sense that god wants us to go back to his original plan of being on a paradise earth, rather than being in heaven"...so why would i think going to heaven is the more correct outcome for believers.. ok, so if that's the case, why the need to depict all the clothed people in all the "after" renderings in the watchtower, where everyone has clothes on?

  by her argument, why isn't there renederings of naked people, if that's what god's original plan was?.

  i just think it's funny, that certain details are overlooked in the reasoning with these people..

  first of all, is there a way to keep this topic available?.

  some would like to see authoritarian repressive watchtower gone, others want reform among jws now!

  Reform would be better because the structure and people are already there. Maby afterwards they should hang a sign saying"under new management". lol.

  I always hear "there have always been earthqueakes" and "its only because media has grown to the point where everything is being reported".

  I dont agree. Even if frequency of earthquakes have not gained. I still think they type of activity is different. This doesnt seem like plate tectonic shifting. Feels more like the earth is heating up inside. The crust is getting looser. And volcano activity is tied to it.

  By my guess Im expecting a bumpy ride. But it wont be solid till something like iceland, hawaii, or yelowstone blows up.

  Its the way these things are happening. Man is changing, the sun is getting ready to puke on us and the earth is gonna give us a good hard shake.

  Last week the sun had an eruption that made the arora borealis spread down to the US mainland. If the crust frees itself from the earth and the sun fires a big enough flare at us the whole thing could give way because of the magnetic shift. Hold on to your socks!

  what if you had terminal cancer and were prescribed this by your physician?

  you already have a terminal disease so the thing about destroying your "body as a temple" thing is a mute point.

  Im a super pothead and i can tell you from experiance that the idea of allowing demons in through MJ is friggin stupid. weed in my opinion beats out alchohol anyday. my only issue is inhaling any smoke is really bad for you. so cosmic brownies for everyone!!!

  What Do JWs Think About Dinosaurs?

  i've seen evangelical sites that show dinosaurs dying in the great flood.

  these people believe that god created the earth in seven 24-hour days, and have wondered that if god could just "speak" the earth into existence, why he would need the other six days.

  (couldn't he just will it into existence in a flash?).

  The dino's are the key to understanding Satan. He wasnt just called the serpent. But also the dragon. The Dino fossil record wouldnt have been able to be understood untill modern times. They were real and this is a fact. They were not included in the bible. This is for a reason. If they were included in the bible wouldnt it have been great for proving the devine inspiration of it? Like the circle of the earth long before columbus. So why leave such an important thing out.

  Its a code. Laid out for our times. If you get the code you understand the true meaning of what happened in the garden of eden.

  for there will be great necessity upon the land and wrath on this people.. the society always applied this scripture, which was talking about the destruction of jerusalem, to the last days and the destruction of this system of things.

  the big 1975 push was in full swing when my mother found out she was pregnant with my youngest sister.
