I didn't even know i WAS an apostate!

i am currently just sick with grief.

i can't believe this is happening to me.

all the jokes i've made about me never "falling out of the truth" and self confidence about my spirituality.

Please sit back and let things settle. It is extremely traumatic and shocking to have your whole foundation ripped from under you. Be cautious as to who you talk to. Be kind to yourself as this takes time to sort through. This is a great place get support. Many lovely people here to help you through this journey.

i wish this weren't the way i greeted the board.

i've been lurking here for about 2 years now, but was unable to really interact because of limitations of my ipod browser (you can't post from there) and the parental controls on my computer.. .

well 2 years later, i'm a big boy, turned 18 and moved out.

Thanks Leolaia! You are fascinating. I was actually talking to a friend of mine today about this board and I informed her that my brain actually gets tired reading through your posts - concentration time. You make me THINK and that's a good thing. Well . . . and feel really dumb - shhhh! LOL!

FlyingHighNow's Nephew's shunning - tragic ending

flyinghighnow (heather) updated her thread last evening about her nephew's shunning treatment by his own mother.

Bohm: Thank you for clarifying what you meant. I was referencing your words. Maybe next time I will point out who I was talking about! Despite what was assumed here - I too am very empathetic to autism. I have been researching it for many years and very actively for about the last three since there has been so much new research on neuroplasticity of the brain. All the research I have done when it comes to these topics has been inspired by my son. It's been a journey and it continues.

My whole point to my posts here was: Read, research and look around to get a complete picture from BOTH sides. I don't advocate one way or another - that is completely up to each individual parent.

On that note I don't need the stress of a highly controversial topic so I will gracefully bow out.

Wow! Now experiental knowledge means nothing! I'd better get back to the meetings ASAP - they TELL me I can't think for myself and truly see what is going on. It's okay - not everyone can see the big picture.

If we only read the WT for information we can all see what happens! One needs to know all the different angles. As I said in my previous post - look at the real world because statistics can be made to say anything you want them to.

The whole premise of illness and disease needs to be looked at as well. It's worthwhile to read up on Antoine Bechamp and Louis Pasteur - The Germ Theory of Disease.

Again - I know this is a heated topic but ones should not assume that because people don't vaccinate that they are ignorant, gullible or crackpots. I don't know of too many parents that take their children's lives as disposable - whether or not they choose to vaccinate.
