I like Martha. I don't understand why so many people have such disdain for her. I like her show, books and magazines, because she and her staff comes up with some pretty cute stuff that I can do.

Look I'm a stay at home mother with little money because of where I live and I have used her ideas and pointers to decorate my house for the holidays when I had barely enough money to buy presents. Those things that I made by hand I cherish more than anything I had bought. And she has a righteous recipe for Thanksgiving turkey that my hubby loves.

I think Martha made a big mistake and being that she was a trained stock broker, she knew better and she should have to pay for that mistake like anyone else but I will never understand the snide remarks and hate that people have for her.

Being that I am a mom of 3 small kids, I really don't have a lot of sparetime. But I do enjoy knitting, crochet, sewing, and reading - mostly mysteries (alot of british stuff), fantasy, and a bit of horror (my fav is Stephen King)

but does anyone use light or moderate amount of perfume or aftershave?

Right now when I want to smell nice I wear Cashmere Mist by Donna Karan (my hubby bought for me) and It's a really nice scent.

I tend to like powdery scents (anyone remember Baby Love? - I wore that in high school).

My favorite scent is Tuscany per(sp?) Donna and Ysatis is a close second.

Good Lord! Thats one big Weenie!

i just love to play jokes on people,and assemblys were a good place to do it.they were developing new products to be sold at the consession stands and my elder dad was in charge.the new fast food they were about to introduce was called a "pronto pup".a weiner on a wooden shish-ka-bob stick,dipped in batter,then deep fried.they were trying to come up with a batter that would give the weiner a good coating,taste good, and come out golden brown.i was in charge of the first batch.i couldn`t let this opportunity go.i dipped,cooked,re-dipped,cooked,re-dipped..ect,ect,untill that baby was about the size of a football.it looked perfect,except it was so dam big.

(you wouldn`t want to get hit in the head with it!

lol).finally everyone came back to see how the first batch came out.they couldn`t believe their eyes,these things were humungus,why did the batter puff out so big?what had gone wrong?

i know for englishmans missus, her ladyship, her bunch of flowers would include freshias.

please give me some advice on the appropriate action i should take if i met you for the first time.

I was raised with the bOrg but I never got baptised and I'm glad to say neither has any of my siblings. My parents are still diehard (but not very consistant) jws.

I come to this board just about every day and I'm so glad it here and populated with such nice and fun people.

Do you love people more now that you're out?

i was thinking about this the other day.

since i've left the borg, i find myself loving other humans more.

like all the little children being abducted, the miners trapped in the mine last week, the victims of car accidents that i pass on the road, a woman crying in the car next to me while waiting for the green light, the homeless that i see every weekend at a local soup kitchen where i volunteer, etc.
