have jehovah's witnesses said anything about the fact that africans are jews.
something that has been known for years, yet jehovah's witnesses' pictures in their books never depict this.
but they scaled it down so eeny teeny weeny itty bitty, that no one could tell what the jews looked like.

I ask that question because I think you don't know what you are talking about and there are many different types of black hair depending on what part of Africa or the world the black person is from. So your statement or observation is a pretty limited one even though you seem think you're an expert on "black hair".

Uh funkyderek I'm not trying to take offense here but what is typical "Black hair"? Since by looking at your pic you seem to be the expert on this subject.
Josie (Black woman with typical balck hair - whatever that means)
i was just thinking after reading some of the posts, and wanted to ask you something..... do any of you feel, and i mean right in the back of your minds, that jws might still have the true faith (truth).
i've been inactive for a few years now and don't attend meetings at the kh, apart from the memorial, and occasional convention.
please don't shout me down, its just that to me, even though i've been out for a while and my reasons for "drifting" away were very painful to me, i don't feel as the majority do here.
No. And I say that after of years of hearing that little voice saying "they could be right". But after all I have seen being on the other side with the blinders off, no I don't feel that way anymore which is actually a relief.

i'm writing this in dallas, texas.
as i write this, we're having another day of a grade red ozone alert.
in simple terms, our air quality is terrible.
I live in Oakland, Ca, just across the bay from San Francisco. The weather is great here, a little warmer than San Francisco and not so much fog. It does get smoggy here but mostly on hot days with no breeze (it doesn't happen often and we get freaked out over anything over 80 degrees and thank goodness the humidity is usually low. lol) I would love to stay in the San Francisco Bay Area (since I was born in San Francisco and have lived here all my life) but it's too damn expensive and in Oakland the public schools are crap.
So my hubby's job has transfered him to Fishers, Indiana and it looks like we will be living in Noblesville, Indiana and from what I've seen it looks beautiful.
If anyone knows what's it's like to live out there let me know.

also, i'm from the wilds of ny - do you think i can adjust to ohio?
Hi,
My husband was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio (he's not a jw nor ever was.) He still has family there (alot of family lol) and I had the pleasure of visiting Dayton two years ago. I thought it was a lovely town.
We are in the middle of a move from Oakland, California to Indianapolis, Indiana and I guess you could say we'll be neighbors.

my jw niece called me last night on the phone.
she is having a pampered chef party (for those of you who don't know what these are, it's like a tupperware party except they cook a meal and sell the cooking stuff).
it is going to be at my jw sister's house and all the dubs will be there....including my "best" friend who ratted me out to my sister regarding us celebrating christmas last year.. i am not invited....but my niece would like me to buy some stuff and to make up for shunning me she is offering to give me her hostess discount....woohoo huh?.
I wouldn't buy anything from her. If you're not good enough to invite then she shouldn't benefit by getting your money for her personal gain. Shame on her.
