I'm needing to upgrade my armory inventory but the SIG has been my baby since I was 21, still shoots straight and is pretty fun to shoot.
i am new here, so i felt that i should share my experience, my thoughts, my feelings and my total and complete change of heart.. i have posted bits and pieces about me and what happened, here is the whole story.. i was born into the religion from 1 parent that was born into it as well and another that was brought in as a child, i did as i was instructed to do.
i was punished when i made my parents look bad at the kingdom hall, i was taken outside and spanked as a child for falling asleep at the forever long and drawn out boring meetings.
it really drove the nail home that i was insignificant when i would see and hear my father asleep and snoring after he had not 'spared the rod', who was going to take him outside and punish him?

i think my problem is that i don't exercise enough.
however, i do walk or cycle to work every day.
If you don't get your metabolic rate up, your body goes into starvation mode and starts to hoard the fat instead of burning it, resulting in a counter productive and failed weight loss program.

Actually, it's not eating less Ding, it's eating smaller portions. To maintain a high metabolic rate (+ metabolic rate = calories burned) you should be eating more often through the day. 3 main meals with 2-3 snack meals (fruit, salad, etc). It's all about portion control.

Excercise Excercise Excercise!
Just 30 minutes a day get your heart rate elevated (consult your doctor on a healthy elevated excerise rate) 3-4 days a week (5 days would be better) and you'll burn that 8 lbs in no time.
Diet is also the key. Stop eating sweets, cut out your sugar intake by 50% this week, 75% next week and maintain that.
The key to weight loss is this: It's 80% Diet 20% Excercise. You'll need both to get the losses you want. I lost 12 lbs in 5 weeks by following that.

forgive me if this has been touched on many times before.. i was wondering if anyone has actually written the society requesting their response/justifications to the many discrepencies and flaws in their doctrine and history, such as failed/altered dates and prophesies, pyramidology, beth sarim, lack of transparency, economic and political ties to the world, how they no more than archeologists, biblical contradictions, etc, etc..... if so, what was their response?.
