I said I would do it and I just did, told my mom I want nothing to do with the org anymore
by Soldier77 ini would copy and paste my emails with my mom, but that would probably be too revealing.. anyway, i said in a post a while back that i was going to tell my mom i no longer want anything to do with the organization.
there have been a series of emails between the two of us lately and she was probing to see what was going on with me.
i haven't been out in fs in almost a year and i haven't been to a thursday night mtg in over 9 months.

Already great advice by many here BroDan. So all I'll add to it is please hang in there, I am praying for you and hoping that you find relief soon in your trials. I hope that your wife sees how much you love her and will not give into the organizations droning mind control much longer.
Wish you the best my friend.

laverite, I'm not DF'd, just faded/inactive. Honestly, I could see them trying to DF me in the near future for whatever dumbass reason they can accuse me of this time. If it comes to that, I'm going to appeal the case and just DA myself. LOL! That should throw them for a loop.
BroDan, buddy, thanks man, the funny thing is, she was DF'd once, for reasons that would mystify anyone, and I continued to talk to her throughout the whole ordeal and up to her reinstatement. I've been DF'd in the past before and she has always talked to me and we've ate numerous times together, in public, in fact, some JW's saw her a few times with me but the elders never said diddly squat to her.
now I wait to hear her response to the last email... this one might be the bomb that goes off.
Oh well, I'd rather deal with that and enjoy the freedom I have now. Freedom from an oppressive cult.

New Information On Blood?
by EmptyInside ini've overheard from a couple of elders, that they are going to be getting some new information on the blood issue.
now,i understand in the witness world, this could all be much ado about nothing.
but, does anyone know what this info could be?.

So now what? We can take blood sub-fractions now? Or maybe the main 4 components? If they allow the main 4 components, they might as well let us take whole blood and move this whole blood issue over to a conscience matter. Of course, that would send ripples, no... probably waves through the organization.

Yes, Brother Soldier77, I see you haven't turned in your time for the month...
by Soldier77 inso i get the call a couple weeks ago from the secretary concerning my time for the month.
he called on a thursday and said that he is looking forward to seeing me at the meeting tonight and to make sure i turn in my time for the month.
" all the while thinking, yeah right, i'm not even going to be at the meeting let alone turn in my fake time!.

Thanks for the words of support everyone.
Hoffnung, I will stick to it, I think the first month to not report was the hardest. Now, hey, already didn't report last month so who needs to now!
Heaven, lol I haven't Aux Pioneered in years, even if I was still 'active' I wouldn't do it. Pioneering is a waste of time.
I am expecting a phone call this week from the Secretary. I just know he's got the CO on his ass about me.

Anyway, I said in a post a while back that I was going to tell my mom I no longer want anything to do with the Organization©. There have been a series of emails between the two of us lately and she was probing to see what was going on with me. I haven't been out in FS in almost a year and I haven't been to a Thursday night mtg in over 9 months. Sunday mtg I usually average once every couple of months for the last 6 months. So she has been pretty pushy with, 'so when are you going back to the meetings?'
Anyway, I sent her a quick email a few days ago and I was cringing. Cringing bcause I thought, well, I practically said the organization can shove it up their ass. Well, her response blew me away, she was very empathetic and understanding. I mean how could she not? She's been through more abuse than I have by the org.
So I wrote her a more direct email stating all of the lies and deceitfulness that the Org has subjected its members to. I outright told her I want nothing to do with the org any longer and that I will not allow it to further ruin my life.
She wants me to write the elders and let them know how I feel. I told her she was crazy to think that would be a positive thing. I told her that I will not ever sit with the elders again, not in a JC or with 2 in a shepherding visit. I used all of my diplomatic skills I could as well as tact to be as respectful as I could to her.
I'm just pretty exhausted after writing that email. It's an emotional drain.

gutted, actually, the first 3-4 months I used that as my justification too. I figured I was witnessing to people about the TRUTH about JWs and using the hours to reverse attack them. Of course, now looking back that was a weak justification, but it helped me at the time. I don't do that anymore though.
Hell, if I were to use the hours I'm on this board reading and posting I could be a regular pioneer!!

When I was still active, I tried to turn in ZERO time and the Secretary refused to allow me.
lwt, this is what bothers me. The last time he called me to turn in time, about 6 months ago, I told him 0. He told me, the same thing, oh you must have informal witnessed to someone throughout the month, I'll mark you down foran hour. All I said was, ok, thanks...
Which makes me wonder what he'll do or did last month. We had our CO visit sometime in the last few weeks and I'm sure he didn't want to have me showing 0 right before CO reports are turned in.
Interesting, so I wonder if he is lying for me now? LOL! That would be freakin hilarious.
BroDan, that thought DID cross my mind a few months back. I was thinking of doing something insanely blatant like that and wait for a phone call from the Secretary.

BrotherDan, one phrase comes to mind on how you should go about this: Theocratic Warfare™.
You know their rules, you know how they operate, use that against THEM. Keep silent, only reveal information that YOU want them to know. You are still the head of the household, the elders need to know their place in the Chain of Command. Don't let them bully you, don't let them treat you both like second rate humans. Do not show them that you are 'weak'.
It's your house, your turf, don't let them take over. You can do all of this respectfully and without showing them any 'brazen' attitudes. Call up all of your diplomatic abilities and stay sharp, don't get lulled into their monologue of encouragement. You can stand your ground while putting off a 'humble' attitude.
I've been in so many JC's and non-JC elders meetings I should write a play book!
