"Someone please tell the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses will you please?"
Why don't you write the WBTS yourself? I mean, you sure do like to write...

we were always told to imagine a senario where the paramedics would find our no blood card and cry " thank god!
we almost gave her a blood transfusion!".
thing is: when i worked in emergency medicine we were always stricted told never ever go rifiling through the patients pockets/handbag/ wallet!.
I was an EMT and if they were alone we would look for medical bracelets, necklace and ID in their wallet. If a medical directive was tucked away and not visible we really didn't search for one. We got the ID any type of contact info for next of kin etc and load a go.
i'll be spending the better part of a week in vancouver, bc later this month.. i hear it is a beautiful, amazing city.. the indian food is supposed to be superb.. i hope to find the time to see some sights and take some of the city in.. what would you recommend to see and do for a first time visitor?.
bts.
If you're there, take a drive or a trip to Victoria, that city is nearby and really cool.

Never fails, see a wannabe thread and I know it's just a huge wall of text. Too long to read at work and by the comments that usually follow, not much to conclude.
how many partakers were in your kingdom hall??.
even if your kingdom hall had no partakers, please say so.. at the end of this thread i'll tally up the result to give a rough idea of partakers world wide!.
i'll start this thread off by saying that i attended 4 kingdom halls and there was a total of 3 partakers.
Why not wait for the end of the year when the report comes out? I'm guessing by the trends I'm seeing off my spreadsheet for it to be around 11,700 or so (give or take 100).
Mad Sweeney, I just saw your number, I'm thinkin we're both pretty close to actual. Which is interesting because the last 5 years have been going up by a bit.
is this book scanned and online anywhere yet?
i had some family mention some things, and eager to review it.
supposedly some doctrine changes.
Thanks for posting the link Yknot, I was looking and looking for it and couldn't find your post.
VM44, they started adding that 'Property of ______' line for at least 5 years. That's a rough estimate, sorry.
EndOf, will take a look at those pages you posted and mark for further reading.
...namely that the person is ever going to get married.. .
back to what you were doing..... .
Or maybe it's like a rental car... man, the mileage put on those cars and the wear a tear... yipes!
i recently learned from some threads on thsi forum that noah had a sister:.

http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/179833/1/i-wonderr-how-many-rows-hoah-had-with-his-wife-on-the-ark.
with a name like Hoah, one doesn't have to wonder long on what she must have did to raise money for her bro.
Sorry, couldn't resist.

I just remembered that Yknot posted a downloadable link of the book somewhere on this site. Might be a few pages back...
so family forced me into accepting the two new pro-creation books released at the convention.
i haven't had a chance to read them properly yet, but i expect to be drilled to death by friends and family on how brilliant the book is.. anyway, i was wondering if anyone was working on a critical analysis?
or could join me in putting together a list of flaws in the books?
I would start by looking up the referenced material used in the quotes for one. I think the back page has the references. I bet most if not all was taken out of context to support their doctrine.
I have both brochures but I'm hitting up the Jeremiah book first.
