I am the conciousness that is aware I am concious and watching all of these objects in my life and understanding how they interact with me.
I've just read "The Untethered Soul: The Journey Beyond Yourself" by Michael A. Singer. The book was an eye-opener to me and it all made sense. I was quite in amazement at how much this book revealed to me. I highly recommend it.

Simply put, no. As you put it, the pendelum swings and the further to one side of the line it swings, the exact opposite will happen when it swings the other way. Everyone shit on Bush when he was prez, everyone wanted change, i.e. get those effing repubs out and get a democrat in, got their "savior", then Obama gets shit on when he's prez.... so... I don't know or care of Obama will get another term, but regardless of what party gets in, it's just more of the same.
Just like the WTS, more of the same bullshit.

You know what I find interesting. Last year when I was all gung-ho about studying for every part on the TMS and even SM parts, in preparing I found that most if not all parts on the school have been recycled for years. In fact, the titles are practically identical to last years assignments. They just rotate them through.
No wonder I always thought that the meetings all sounded the same. Because they were!! There is no further understanding, there is no in-depth studying, it's all recycled. Even the the talks that just give you the topic without references, the do it yourself talks, those are all recycled Watchtower or some publication that has been printed information that has already been said a hundred times.
So boring, so mind-numbing, such blah blah blah.

i was browsing through the december 2010 awake, and noticed an article on the earthquake that happened in haiti earlier this year.

it didn't take long for the article to disturb me.

the third paragraph initiated the sanctimonious tone that is present througout the article.
