My elder and longtime presiding overseer pioneer JW grandfather BELIVED right up until he died in 1993 that the great pyramid was Jehovah's stone witness,He STILL BELIEVED it and would not let me 'refute' the old light.

( The measurements come from 'scratches' of increment markings in the grand hall of the great pyramid.The National Geographic just did a contemporary archaeological revision of the case and it turns out the 'increment marks' are simply tool marks from lifting and hoisting apparatus.)

Talk about total quackery that started the Watchtower religion.

I was at the 1979 centennial of 100 years of the Watchtower and they had special commemorative WT issues and talk.

I betcha same daring showpiece on 100 years of Jesus 'invisible' enthronement with special commemorative WT.

To lurkers and whom it may interest the 1914 date is a carry over of William Millers Adventist 1844 'great disappointment' end times with the same illustrated prophecies of Daniel and the JW twist is Charles T Russel added pyramidology into the mix.

My old time JW grandfather talked about the pyramids often so there are eyewitness to all the WT bunk.

Jesus 'invisible' second coming October 5th or 6th 1914 is the CORE CREED dogma of the Watchtower Jehovah's Witnesses.

This by their own admission what makes them separate from all the rest of Christendom.

Back in the 1950s 1960s into the 70s it is ALL we ever talked about.

When my baby brother took the baptismal questions in 1988 the elder made him memorize the whole 607 day for a year 1914 chronology just for theocratic academic fun.

If they drop it this moment...... it will have little effect on current JW's

It IS the primary reason for me exiting and turning 'apostate' in 1992

the watchtower society of jehovah's witnesses predicted the end of the world to come in 1975. as a result, many jehovah' witnesses started withholding from having children, higher education, while others sold their houses and donating money to the watchtower society.

please, correct me.

now, a million dollar question is, what was the watchtower doing itself in anticipation of the end of the world in 1975?.

problem was, the torpedo's were fitted with nuclear warheads.

the submarine could not contact moscow for authorisation.

It's all true

With all due respect 911 Sept 11 2001 events were nothing compared to Cuban Crisis.

There is a lot more to tell there were FOUR TIMES as many warheads than Kennedy knew about and there was no Soviet fail safe on launch it was as easy as turning one key and pushing a button (same as starting your car) to send 25 megatons on there way.

Moeover many soviet launch crew members were drunk or hung over.
