  Bible Contradictions

  i will go out on a limb and say that this has probably been discussed alot.

  but for my own personal benefit i'd like to hear everyones "favorite" bible contradiction.

  i'd also like to hear any refutes that anyone has to any of these contradictions.

  God good to all, or just a few?

  Psalms 145:9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

  Jeremiah 13:14 And I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and the sons together, saith the LORD: I will not pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, but destroy them.

  What was stated in Psalms 145:9 was a praise of David referring to the dominion of ancient Israel during David's reign. Although God repeatedly delivered the Israelites from their enemies, his compassion eventually reached its limit. According to Jeremiah they practiced idolatry, bringing idols into God's temple, mocking his prophets. The Israelites reached a point where there was no longer any proper basis for compassion. They did this kind of stuff all throughout the Hebrew scriptures.

  I have been lied to. I've been taught not to believe everything I read, and not by Jehovah's Witnesses, by many people, especially anonymous internet stories that can in no way be confirmed. It's good advice. If you can't take it, don't know what to tell you.

  I posted a picture in response to some things that were said to me, as in the picture was a metaphor for "go to hell." I didn't "say" anything.

  Of course what is said to one of Jehovah's Witnesses regardless if it's hate speech or whatever else is par the course here, so your memory will not recall any of that.

  I don't care who verifies what. You would think if you're an adult you have better things to do with your time than fight with some stranger. That's not why I'm here. Why don't you not bother me if you can't act your age.
