I'm tired as hell too.....I'm trying to stay awake to watch Desperate Housewives (ya, I admit it---I watch it!), but I only got about 4 hours sleep last night and I'm zonked, so I might just tape it and then hit the hay......

Anyone here have any experience with the "super-natural"?
by Knowsnothing inand if so, would that prove an existence of evil-spirits (demons)?.
i have heard of a couple of stories of possession, or of jw's talking to spiritists and the spiritists having seen 2 men following the jw, either dressed all in black, or all in white, and very strong looking.
yet, i have never experienced any of it.. another experience that i heard is about a brother whose mom had super-natural strength, and tossed something really heavy.

Nicolas, I think you're an intelligent person but that's a pretty lame explanation don't you think? 'His brain made it up'?

Just because something cannot be measured, studied, dissected andobserved in a controlled laboratory and then written by someone with a PhD ina peer-reviewed journal, doesn't mean it can't happen.
That's a bit of a strawman, isn't it? Who ever made that claim?
Surely you jest. This is exactly the claim made by many on this board over the years(and elsewhere) to downplay the possibility of something 'supernatural'. They demand evidence that can be verfied and studied in physical terms. If that is not available, then the stories are pooh-poohed as being nothing more that someone's over-active imagination, the result of mental illness or an old house making weird noises.
I do think that many occurances can have a rational explanation, but many experiences that people have do not. I'm unsure as to what I believe at the moment, but I don't concede that everyone who has these experiences are off their meds, or on too many meds, or paranoid delusional. Strange shit happens that defies what we know of in our present physical world.
Lowkey-lysmith's experience is an excellent example. I will assume that he is of sound mind, does not take hallucinagetic drugs and is not mentally disturbed. How exactly do you explain what happened to him?

I've never had any experiences with the supernatural, but I know others who have. These people are not insane, they're not on medication, they don't suffer from delusions and they're not paranoid schizophrenic----they've had things happen which don't seem to have any rational explanation.

kjw53 bleated: If one pledges allegiance to a man king-he loses. Every human on this earth is brainwashed from their youth up for the man made word patriotism. to pledge allegiance to a man king.except the JW,s.
Ya.....the JWs are taught to pledge their allegiance to the Slobbering Body Members, who have elevated themselves to be equal to Jesus and Jehovah. Hmmmmm...........Doesn't the bible condemn those that try pulling that crap?
"...He is set in opposition and lifts himself up over everyone who is called "god" or an object of reverence, so that he sits down in the temple of The God, publicly showing himself to be a god."-----2 Thessalonians 2:4 .
