Making tomato sauce....
by JWOP innot sure where i should post this?.
last year i got into home canning.
this year i sooooo want to make homemade tomato sauce, but i'll need a food mill to do it because it's too time consuming to de-seed 52 jars worth of tomatoes.. i've been online looking at customer reviews for various brands and models, but now i'm just a muddled mess.reviews speak about multiple uses and the pros and cons, but i only want it for tomato sauce/spaghetti sauce.. do any of you use a food mill for homemade tomato sauce?

Actually, I use canned crushed tomatoes. It saves alot of time. I sautee some chopped onions and garlic, then I add the crushed tomatoes, a bit or red wine, kosher salt, pepper, a bit of parsley and oregano. Cook on low for about 30 or 40 minutes and it's done.

by MsD init may seem like a stupid question but who was responsible for translating their version of the bible?
i heard it was ray franz, several governing body members.
does anybody have any legitimate info that can prove who exactly translated it?

Freddie Franz was the one mostly responsible for the um 'translation' he did of the NWT. Before this, they were reduced to using versions that did not agree with some of their teachings, so Freddie took liberties with various scriptures and the NWT was the end result.

by return of parakeet ini feel cheated that never, not once, as a dub or as a ex-dub, did i experience the presence, manifestation, or just-things-flying-around, of demons.
not so much as a teacup levitating from its saucer.
no inexplicable cold spots.

I believe that there is probably some nasty spirits out there, but I don't have the holy terror of them that I did as a Witness. Witnesses are taught that there's a freaking demon in anything and everything, just waiting to trip you up so you don't get those hours in on your field serve-us report everything month.

When they pay me do it, I'll sign up! Actually, no I still wouldn't do it......
It's hilarious how they keep dropping the hour requirements, supposedly to help everyone remain a publisher or pioneer. In reality, I believe it's being done solely to try and help bridge the hemorrhaging stats that they're still rolling out.

Done! One suggestion though is maybe to have a spot under "What Were You Disfellowshipped For"? where we can check off "Was not Disfellowshipped" or "Did The Fade".
