Kent was tired of all this for several years. I hope everyone here likewise gets tired of all this, not that life means little any longer, but life for each has moved on and this is just not important to us. Thus the quote you site above was from 2002. However, Kent had no takers to his offer and kept running the site anyway until about a year ago. That's when the WT put pressure on his host to shut him down. That, added to his desire to finally become an EX-EXJW Kent closed the site down. I believe he knew he could fight it and when but he seems to have a new life now, the life he was robbed of by the WT. I'm proud of him. I don't have time to search the links but the issue is searchable and was, I think, about this time last year.

If you are wondering if the site itself is encouraging or conspiring to promote misinformation, you give us more credit than we deserve. If you are wondering if sometimes hurt feeling expressed here exagerate the severity or intent of the elders or WT reps who are sited, I'm sure that is the case. It's human nature, especially when someone else has damaged you.
I'll suggest you just look for the big picture here when it comes to personal testimony, and look for the supporting details when it comes to damaging policies, teachings and actions of the WT. Many like the UN/NGO affair, the twisted blood policy, the child molestation scandle and the WT mistreatment of those who speak about these matters is fairly easy to prove to yourself.
And yes, we are all shocked from time to time.

hi, i'm fairly new to this site but i downloaded a film about one hour long on the history of the jehovah's witnesses!
i found it to be very good but i doubt that i could get someone (jehovah's witness) to watch it since they are ordered not to watch anything that might enlighten them event though the film is all truth supported by there own watchtower publications!
if any one is looking to see this film do a search for jerimiah films in limewire or kazaa, etc.... i know theres a lot of crap on these download sites but there are also good stuff!

is the time frame suggested by the wt for this also in doubt?

in compliance with the terms of a settlement agreement, my information and research web site, http://quotes.watchtower.ca, is now "dark".
the domain "watchtower.ca" has been transferred to wts (i assume they will have it pointing to borg.org watchtower.org asap).
my copies of the site have been destroyed, the files deleted, and my wt library cd has been destroyed, in accordance with the settlement agreement which will afford a "discontinuance" of their suit against me.
