does anybody know what is stored there ?
i was under the impression that all periodicals and books published, at least in the usa, were stored there.. so-o, if they would have all the 'old stuff', wouldn't that be an interesting thing to point out to active jw's ?
the one's who don't think anything has been changed ?.
when i was at bethel in the bindery, each publication was saved and a copy sent to the library of congress-
we would run and ck copies until we had a perfect one with perfect edges, no glue ozzing out of the hardback cover, it could take 100's to find just the perfect 4 or 5 that were set aside and set to the library of congress

it sounds like it is an assembly hall- if so there will not be much $$$$$ listed
- outside of the NY Corp and PA Corp everything else is either a Hall or Assembly Hall-
those two are the large $$$ houses

ok, so, i heard recently that the wtb&ts takes in over a billion dollars in the us alone.
that's a lot of cash.
it seems to me, from my limited vantage point, that the society is indeed doing the things it says it's doing with the money - support co's and do's, building kingdom halls, and so on.

I have come to the conclusion that they behave like many elderly people do in that they have plenty of money, are accumulating more wealth but do nothing beyond what they have to with it.

i firmly beleive this is what happens to the money, based on everything i have seen, talked to, it all points to the wt is just Hording Money
according to our new co, elders nor their children are allowed to go to college.
my dad is being deleted.
evidently new material was presented at the elder school.
this was what happened years ago in the late 70's esp if the elder kid with OUT OF TOWN to college, livning on campus, etc
was considered not a good example- a bethel friend of mine was not reappointed as a ms when he left bethel due to going to college
ken karis was the co who told him as a former bethelite he was not exemplary for going to college after leaving bethel, it gave the impression that bethel did not train you for theoutside
he was told this straight to his face by ken karis the co
