Have You Prepared For The "Flu" And Do You Get A Flu Shot?

i try to keep my hands clean regularly and stay away from areas and people that i know are sick.. i have never gotten a flu shot and i do know that many that do get one, get the flu anyway.. still, the flu is considered very very bad this year..

I never get a flu shot simply because I'm only one stomach flu away from my ideal body weight.

My youngest son and she have hung out together quite a few times. She's supposedly a really nice girl and manages to stay pretty balanced. Her Mom keeps a close eye on her and they are close.

Urban legend? Or did this really happen when they renovated The Towers?

my ex-husband was in bethel when the society bought and started renovating the towers hotel in brooklyn.

my family stayed there when the society was renting a few floors - the place was beyond flea-bag - and people actually lived there.

once the society took possession of the building they started renovating, and of course the residents had to be evicted.

I had a room on the 9th floor in the Towers after it was renovated but there were still a few of the original tennants living there. One by one as they left, the rooms were renovated. We had a scary Bag Lady living oun our floor who was dead but nobody told her. She was very tall, gray skinned and sickly looking. She'd sort of spirit herself in and out of the building when no one was around. A few times I saw into her Apt and it was dark and stacked with newspapers and magazines from floor to ceiling...and the smell !!! Sometimes She'd get into the elevator and we'd all have to hold our breath for the entire ride. I was told that she was one of the ones who was found dead.

One experience in our old Kingdom Hall that still HAUNTS me

the following is a true experience and my daughter gojira101 will verify that it happened to her.

an experience from our family's past that still haunts me and started my questioning whether this is the true organization of god or not.. my daughter, who has always been a good kid, never gave us any problems [she's an adult now] started regular pioneering.

within a few weeks of her starting, she fell on a steep hill and tore open her knee and had to have several stitches.

The same kind of thing happened in our Hall. A young sister who had been a Regular Pioneer since leaving high school became engaged and simply didn't sign up for the year of her wedding because she wasn't sure if she'd be able to make her time because of the planning and moving and big changes. At the end of the service meeting, the P.O. got up and said. "We have a bit of sad news to report.....Mary Smith will be dropping out from among the Regular Pioneer ranks" There was no thank you or commendation for all the years she served" It was as if they announced a death. A silence fell over the hall. The poor girl burst into tears there in her seat as a few sisters tried to console her. I don't even know why it had to be announced in the first place.

Some of these guys in charge are really CLODS !
