I, too, love all Sophie Kinsella's books ! Chic lit is underrated, it's great mind candy.

It most certainly is! I could never get through ''Charlottes web''... It distressed me greatly! Lol. I am welling up now thinking of Charlotte! Lol... You can never love books too much! Babysprout has discovered her ''Love'' for reading and she's turning into a bookworm. She has all my books from when i was growing up. All my Enid blytons! It's lovely to see a child have a thirst for reading. When i met Carrot he had only read two books in his whole life. Now he hasn't got his head out of one. He loves books for xmas and b'days... I think my love of books has infected my family. Lol

There is a new library opening up and i am soo excited. Will be going in with my list of books and indulging.

Thank you to all who replied... Can't wait to get my teeth in these ''reads''.

I know i loved ''Can you keep a secret''.. Sophie Kinsella's characters are me! Lol. Carrot loves reading them cause he said it's like reading about you! I don't know whether to be offended or not! Lol.

An old friend told me that ''Becky'' out of the shopaholic series was me. Can't say i'm a shopaholic... I'm as ditzy though.

It wouldn't be Minimus without his ''dumb'' questions! Lol

although I still am a very good judge of character.

My problem is i try to see the good in everyone.. I end up having the vampires drain me of my life force. I am getting better, when the alarm bells start ringing i listen to them and run the hell away. Lol

What's the most dumbest/petty thing you've heard of someone being "stumbled" over?

- some loser once took offense that i hugged a sister goodbye at a leaving do and ran back to the elders like a little child telling on me.

i was 15, this sister was in her 40s at the time.. - this elder said someone told him they saw me with a copy of the sun newspaper.

yes, this paper is known for its 'page 3' topless girls but far from pornagraphic and i wasn't even thinking along those lines.. - one brother who had a good job was 'counselled' because he was actually able to buy himself nice things including a new car (shock, horror!!

We have been reproved for laughing too much at a meeting

There was an elder in my old cong who said something really funny off the platform. This was before Carrot and I were married.. No one else thought it was funny just me and one off Carrots friends. Anyway we couldn't stop laughing. This elder saw us and from the platform pointed his finger at us and told us off in front of the whole congregation. Instead of making us stop it made us worse. We were in a heap. My superfine apostle BIL kept turning round and was smiling cause he thought it was funny we had been humiliated by the whole cong.

My favorite books recently were Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsover and Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay also The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson. Have any of you read them?

No i haven't, but i will be!

Another book that i loved is ''Candle moth'' by R.J. Ellory. Dark, tragic with an amazing twist. I sobbed reading it...You are pulled into the story. Brilliant!
