Video tribute to Oompa (Eric Reeder)
by cedars ini didn't know eric particularly well, and i feel terrible that i didn't reach out to him more or try to help him while i still had the opportunity.. i feel extremely helpless, but the least i can do is help others remember him who knew him better.. here is a video i've uploaded to youtube in his honor.... .

SAD news about OOMPA......
by redredrose inour friend, oompa, has passed away.
just recieved the news a couple of hours ago, and have almost no details.
it happened today or yesterday, he took his own life.

Whenever I saw Oompah's avatar I was always start humming the oompah lumpa song and it would make me smile. I just hope that you have finally found some peace, you will be greatly missed.

Why I truly come in!
by justmom inhello everyone.... i would honestly like to share why i come to this site when i am able to.. i too, like many here spent my whole life inside the wt along with my husband who was born in.
(i was 6) we have raised three wonderful sons now 27, 23, 21 who the youngest was almost 7 when we left and we were disfellowshipped.
(for so-called apostacy of course)and since then all of us partake of the christ by eating and drinking the manna and his blood.

He is thank you, I made him a magic tinture, sent him to bed and he was fine the next morning. He is built like an ox. :)
He needs to be at peak health to enjoy his present :D
He leaves on Monday and I won't see him for seven weeks and I haven't got any underoos yet :S It will be something he will have to look forward to when he gets leave.... Watersprout becomes WONDER WOMAN!

How do I hear/feel God?
by doinmypart inthis is a serious question.. i know people that hear/feel god (and see postings about people's experiences), but i have not experienced this.
i have never heard anything audibly (or otherwise) nor "felt" anything inwardly.. i've prayed, read, quieted my thoughts, etc...but still nothing..

All I can gather from your post's is that you want to know if God is going to ''burn you up''... Why should that worry you, you don't believe in God. Seriously I wish I hadn't got involved in this post... It's hard to explain things over a forum, it's much easier face to face, but that isn't possible... I don't struggle with being questioned about my faith and when has my behaviour been ridiculous? The part about being obnoxious was directed at EP, but if you want to take offense at it, go ahead. I'm going to have to leave it here as i'm moving in five days and I have so much to do I don't know my head from my arse!

I didn't say that we hear different things... I have no idea what any of the other body members hear... If I read something I disagree with I go to Christ and He explains it...

Words that were ok to use as a witness

sufficiently different to start a new thread i thought though.. on the mj thread i had a bit of a poke at glander and used a load of anti-gay terms.
what i thought was interesting was that they were all terms that i used to use as a witness.

At lot of the kids suffering with ADHD can be helped by changing their diet... I have seen it first hand, it's all the E-numbers in the food they are eating... Tends to affect very sensitive children.
Parents I see rarely sound like they mean it when they tell a child what to do or not do.
I have noticed this aswel, some parent's just seem half hearted like they can't be bothered.
