Thanks Zoiks. Carrot gave her some food and she was soo hungry she swallowed without chewing. She followed us upstairs then vomited the lot on the carpet.
It was too heavy on her tum... I'm going to give her a little bit of tuna when her tum settles as she has been begging while we were eating dinner. She was under my feet while I was cooking and kept staring at me with mournful eyes lol.

The dog is much better this afternoon. She was excited to see me when I walked in and had dutifully emptied the bin lol.

We haven't any plants in our back garden, no other animal can get in it's very secure. Like I have posted she doesn't eat plants not does she dig or mess in soil. She is a very lazy dog. Perfers to sit in the sun and watch the world go by. She has never chewed anything up. Unless it's food she won't eat it. I don't use any chemicals. I am a vegan so everything I use is earth/animal/human friendly.
Even if it was a plant she was eating surely she would be ill all the time. Not just randomly. I'm not going to go next door and beat the old woman with my broom although yesterday took a lot of restraint. She has been vocal about us having a dog and likes to go running to the agents about her. In April just gone we had a threatening letter off the agents telling us if we didn't sort out the ''dog'' issue then they would be forced to serve us our notice with an ''anti social behaviour'' order. When I phoned in tears and asked what on earrth they meant I was told that next door, yet again, had phoned and had gotten several people in the street to phone and complain about the dog. I asked what had the dog done? I was told that the dog was non stop barking. I told her I was a house wife and that our dog was deaf and partially blind and she didn't make any noise. I have got back from shopping, been calling her, found her alseep upstairs and only when I touched her did she wake up. She doesn't make a sound. The agents are soo sick of her now and to be honest when we give our notice in they will be relieved. Until the new tenants move in and it starts all over again.
When I explained this the agents just told us to sort it. I asked well how am supposed to sort something that doesn't exist... I was told it wasn't there problem, it was ours. The woman is a nutter, I would put nothing past her... She has told me how she kills slugs/bugs anything that gets into her garden and enjoys watching these creatures suffer. She is not right in the noggin!
So yes I have no definate proof and I will certainly not go shouting my mouth off to the street. But it's funny how everything points to her. Only a camera will tell.

after I fed the ex with the pedigree chum pie, he said it was the best hed ever tasted, and he was training to be a CHEF! Hahaha...go figure

She is better, not hacked for a while so i'm hoping she's feeling better. We changed her bed 4 times yesterday as she was being sick over it and didn't have the strength to go outside.

Black sheep I asked about that but she was all clear... I just want her well now, I hate her being ill. We have had her for ten years and she was 6 when we had her. She was kept in a cage down the bottom of someones garden and was emotionally damaged. We rehibilitated her and she is a lovely dog. The only times she has been ill is these two poison attacks. Apart from that she is healthy. She has gone an hour without hacking so fingers crossed she will start to feel better today.

WOW! Talk about a lot to read through.
Our dog was up again last night, not as poorly as the night before but still poorly. When she started hacking it was soo painful she started to whimper. Which is not like her at all. She is tough. When she whimpers she is in pain. Going to make her soup to see if she will keep that down.
I will not be going to the police until I have actual evidence, that's why we are getting a camera put up. Even the vet said you can't prove it was the neighbour without having footage of her doing it. She is very popular with the neighbours, on her side there are no pets. She drove out the previous tenants by constantly harrassing the agents and coming round with problems. With us she kept coming round with ''fake'' electrical problems, it was crackling she was hearing and it was keeping her awake all night. Our landlord had to pay for electricians to come out a few times. Nothing was found cause she is a nutjob!
Our bedroom backs onto her bedroom and she would hear us go to bed and bang on the wall waking us up. She once held a hoover to the wall! We have to tiptoe round the bedroom on a night because she starts banging then phoning the agents to say we are loud and rowdy and it's distressing her... Grrrrrrr.
That hasn't worked so she has to take it to the next level... The dog is not a plant eater, we have no poisonous plants in the garden and I NEVER use any chemicals.... No weed killer or fertiliser. I pull all weeds out by hand. Very painful. Lol.
I'm careful what she eats and where she goes. We had a look to see if she has been digging but there is nothing anywhere.
Without hard evidence there is absolutely nothing I can do. Even the police have said we need some footage or a confession. Well she's not going to confess is she! If the police go round to see her if will only fuel her attacks. The only way out is to move....
Babysprout isn't stupid and wouldn't pick anything up that looked suspicious... Carrot did a sweep of the garden before he left for work and it was all clear... I will not the dog out alone EVER!.
We don't have a neighbourhood watch and even if we did we wouldn't be welcome. The street do like her, especially the oldies... It's living next door to a rented property that's her problem. She's a snob and I have my suspicious if she can kept driving tenants out she thinks the landlord will get fed up and sell it. Hmmmm I doubt that will happen....

Zid when she was poisoned the first time we never left her side. Carrot is out their with her now. We have been doing sweeps of the garden and been very vocal whilst in the garden on her diagnosis.... Just for our neighbours ears. Lol

Ask the vet how you can strengthen your doggie's liver and kidneys, since those are probably affected by the previous poisoning episodes...
Thats what i'm worried about. She has become soo ill in just a few days... The first time it was slow, but it was soo violent soo quickly this time. It's either a different poison/stronger dose or it's really affected her organs. Her stomach lining and throat have been burnt. She's in a bad way. Hopefully there something she can have to strengthen her.

Symptoms were the same for the guy and they are for your dog.
In the guy's case it was arsenic.
White dove that is scary... If it's arsenic what is she doing with such a toxic substance?? Oh my goodness her husband suffers with lung disease and he is always being rushed into hospital. What if she is putting his meds into food and poisoning my dog that way?? The mind boggles......

Is there anyway you could put up some wire fencing etc?
We have 6ft fences either side of the garden.... I might put some barbed electrified wire all along the top. That should stop her! And yes we have a little girl.....

Bohm thanks for the link, I had a look at the plants and we have none of those in the garden... Plus she has never eaten plants... Grass yes not plants. We don't give her any human foods that are toxic either. We did tell the crazy witch taht we knew she was poisoning the dog, she didn't say anything but stayed well clear of us. Then all of a sudden she has kicked off again... Carrot was in the drive and she was pulling her green bin down. She looked over at Carrot and Carrot barred his teeth and snarled at her! Lol... He said he didn't know what had come over him.
Skeeter the police in the UK don't give two figs. She would have to die before thay would do anything. It's a joke. We are going to get a camera up so it shows the whole back garden and then we have proof when she throws the poison over.... When I contacted the estate agents they told me that she had driven all the previous tenants out. Her usual tactics didn't work so this must be her last resort. I hope when we move out some thugs move in. I would like to see her take british larger louts on. Lol.
Viola I am going to file a report, then if anything happens to the dog it's all written down... All we were told the last time was we needed proof. Well I am going to get it and if it means getting a camera put up then so be it.

The dog has just been sick again and she wanted to go outside. She bounced up the path and has been harrassing Carrot. She came over to me and because I dared ignore her she growled at me. Lol. Fingers crossed she is finally feeling a little better. She is an incredibly tough little dog. The vet said the last time he didn't know how she stayed alive. Said she was incredibly strong. Such a fighter. She is 16 and before the poisoning would run round the park like a loon and play for hours with babysprout. She's going to live into her hundreds. I'm sure of it. Lol
