  bit of background info..... we have a neighbour who is a complete psychopath, she has tried to get us evicted, turned neighbours against us, bad mouthed us to our visitors.. last year our dog who is a jack/staff and is very healthy started to go downhill.... lethergy, depression, vomiting bile, coughing.

  we took her to the vets who ran loads of tests on organ failure, cancer etc and they all came back clear.

  he repeatedly asked us if she could have eaten anything.

  EP is a troll, plain and simple... I suspect that he's "Butt the Shi..." - er, "Burn the Ships" reincarnated after he got kicked off-board for being flagrantly bigoted...

  LOL.

  Also, I agree that it's VERY SUSPICIOUS that your parents' dogs became poorly after being left alone for a while in your yard/house...

  It's all a little too suspicious.... We are going outside with the dog and monitoring her. Going to take her over the aprk tomorrow as she seems a little better. We need sleep, she is keeping us up all night with her cough. Can't settle knowing she's ill.

  Can't wait for you to be able to either get a surveillance camera in there, or move!!

  I'm going to see how much they are and get one up.

  Violia I have a friend whose brother is a police officer. Am going to ask her if she can find out where/how we stand. And if we catch her on tape, can likely is it we can use it. The UK have soo many loopholes is laughable.

  I just trap them and call animal control and the skunks they put to sleep but the others they relocate.

  How come teh skunks are put to sleep??

  EP what a wonderful way with words you have. *sigh* I understand why ones have been getting upset over this thread and it's called ''internet ranting''... I wouldn't do anything stupid like going round and boxing the old bats ears, but I would really enjoy it and I would feel better. Lol. People vent and once it's out everyone feels better. We all know I have no proof and even if I did, getting a conviction in the UK would be difficult. Not going to stop me trying though.

  I forgot to mention that ''psycho'' as she is known in our house stands in the bedroom window watching us in the garden... My parents came over last week to dog and baby sprout babysit when we went away for our wedding anniversary and mom told me that she was standing in the window watching her hang washing out...

  My parents had gone away when they left ours to visit family down by the coast and I found out today when my mom phoned that both her dogs have been really sick... This is from two dogs (my moms) that are NEVER sick... Mom said they had been unwell since they left ours... The girl doggie is a fussy little eater so it would have to be something in meat to get her to eat it... She doesn't like the veggie meat my mom cooks lol... It's all a little too coincidental.... I desperately need that proof and gosh darn it I will get it!

  We had a cat poisoned by anti-freeze years ago, poor baby. We found him dead.

  Antifreeze poisoning the most common illnesses in animals its usually left lying about and tipped down drains with puddle splashes left for the animals to lick up.

  Got back from vets and dog has had two injections to settle her stomach... I have to starve her today and then wean her on soft foods tomorrow. So Zid and Emptyinside I will be taking your advice on the babyfood.

  The vet said she should have improved greatly by thursday. If not back to the vets on friday.

  Have you ever considered that someone could be slipping poisoned morsels under your front door at night? Does your dog have the run of the house while you sleep?

  Carrot said the exact same thing to me yesterday. He thinks that she could be posting something through the letterbox. The dog has access to every room and she does like to sit by the radiator which is by the front door. We are going to attach a bag to the letterbox so if anything comes through the dog won't eat it.

  Thank you for your replies... I haven't had much chance to have a proper read but i'm getting ready to get the dog back down the vets. She was up coughing again last night and vomited profusely. Plus she has ripped her claw and it's all twisted. Been scrubbing the carpet to get the blood out. Poor thing. So when I get back I will let you all know.

  i remember one time when i was about 17 years old, i wanted to arrange a costume party for the young brothers in the congo around my age.

  i suggested it to one of my friends and was told that the elders had advised against it because it could be construed as pagan and masks have their roots in demonism.

  of course, i was never shown any biblical proof of this but just that response took the wind out of my sails and i decided to just not go through with it.

  I have found when dubbies come a knocking and you question their beliefs they get all irritated and act as though you are keeping them. I am now down as a do not call purely because they wouldn't stay and talk with me. As soon as I made it clear I wanted to talk they buggered off! All they wanted to do was leave me the mags.

  Good luck trying to crack the mindset of a dubbie. Hopefully though you will say something that will cause that lightbulb to light up above their heads....

  You are not being rude at all. We have been routinely checking the garden and we have been going out with her. So far she has kept that tuna down, so fingers crossed. If all goes well I will give some more in a couple of hours. She is a stocky dog anyway, but she has gone really thin.....

  did the vet check her for "twisted bowel" syndrome??

  She was all clear.

  Factfinder she seems a little brighter today. She was coughing all last night but she wasn't sick. As long as she is not sick that's a good thing. Her stomach lining, esophagus and bronchial tubes are burnt, so it's causing her pain. She has just had a little bit of tuna so fingers crossed that doesn't make her cough or she brings it back up. We are having to wean her with super soft foods because of the damage done.

  If I think it about it to much I start to get really angry... I don't need to take revenge, karma will do it all.
