  so i'm sure someone's already noticed this by now, but i just want to post this because... well, why not?.

  i can't help but get that eery feeling that i'm at an assembly when listening to this video of harold camping talking about the rapture- the similarities are stunning, to me.

  in other news, obviously the rapture never happened- can't wait to see how this plays out for him and his cult following in the next few days and weeks.

  @hoser - That's exactly what I thought. And when he talks, he uses some of the same buzzwords, and the "air" of his speech is similar... I can't put my finger on it, but it's about the way he speaks - the mentality conveyed - and the choice of words that he uses, and the structure and formation of his talk. I wonder if he's ever been a witness or associated with them somehow, at some point in time.

In other news, obviously the rapture never happened- can't wait to see how this plays out for him and his cult following in the next few days and weeks. I could see about 100 years from now, the "Haroldites" branching off into a corporate structured publishing company, sharing the good news about the rapture. They would dismiss his claims, bogus calculations and predictions as simple human error, imperfection and being overeager.

  i really don't care much for jw's at my door, or at anyone's door.

  this chauvinistic, fanatical bully-a-hole, however, is one of the worst examples of a christian i have ever seen.

  the jw's handled themselves very well in the face of this ridiculous bullying and taunting by this so-called christian attempting to school the jw's about god and the bible.

  Youtube JW Goes Against WT Admonition to Admonish Apostates

  this sister in the video below calls us "stupid", "slanderous" and nearly says, "libelous", but oh, darnit, it's not a word she is use to saying .

  this lady has about 125 vids talking about the jw's, the wtbts and stuff.

  she goes against the wtbts's admonition against having such a channel and against engaging apostates with admonition of her own to dole out.

  It's been quite a while...

  it's been a long time since i have posted here, or logged on- mostly lurking around once in a while, but not as of late... just wanted to drop in and say hi.

  most of my activity has been on facebook, so i probably know a lot of you guys on here already- i'm taylor milligan.

  lots of things have happened since my disassociation a while back including arguments, threats of being kicked out, encountering shunning firsthand, and to top it all off, i turned 18 a bit ago, and am now on my own- lots of drama between all of this :).. .

  I plan to soon. I've been put out on my own now, so I have to find a job to keep up with rent, and all those other things. But as soon as I find something stable, I'm heading straight to college, and can't wait!

Lots of things have happened since my disassociation a while back including arguments, threats of being kicked out, encountering shunning firsthand, and to top it all off, I turned 18 a bit ago, and am now on my own- lots of drama between all of this :).
  
  But my main reason for posting here is to thank all of the wonderful people here (especially the regulars who post all the time) for helping me (and the countless others who come here that are undergoing that same religious confliction) and offering love and care that was unconditional, to a total stranger. My exit process started here with my first post, and I just want to keep in touch with my roots, and say thanks to you guys, and that I love you all. Take care
