  yes, friends, this is another thread about the latest generation teaching.

  so, if you're sick to death of it, leave now, save yourselves.... anyhoo... as the wts has now unleashed on the world the true explanation of generation and what it means for those of us in this time of the end, dubs who accept without question this teaching are 'oohing' and 'ahhing' as the new explanation 'makes so much sense now'.

  Demons and Their Children

  on the urban myth post someone mentioned a story how the demons hated jah's children in the truth, because jah killed the demons children during the flood.

  i have heard that story about the flood, and the nephilim, millions of times and never made a connection that god actually destroyed the fallen angel's offspring.

  the nephilim were always portrayed as monsters and evil, but who really knows.. interesting point.

  Where did 607 come from?

  okay so we've obviously established on this board that 607 is not the correct date that babylon destroyed jerusalem.

  even before 1914 came around, the bible students still thought 1914 would be a pivital date.

  the only way they can gain that info is from the 7 times or w/e.

  Okay so we've obviously established on this board that 607 is not the correct date that Babylon destroyed Jerusalem. So where did 607 come from? Even before 1914 came around, the Bible Students still thought 1914 would be a pivital date. The only way they can gain that info is from the 7 times or w/e. The 2520 days (or years as they put it). Why did they decide to use 607 as the date?

  Also, another interesting point to consider is that they are going by the 7 times, with 360 days per year. Well if they are considering each year to be 360 days (as was the way they went about it back then), then it would equal out to be less years by the amount of days we go by now. Think about that. I'm not sure when we started counting years as 365 days but that would throw off the end date of the 2520 years, wouldn't it? Does what I'm saying make any sense? I'm trying to explain what I'm thinkng but I can't find the right words to put it down in writing to explain what I mean.

  ...but it seems foundational to any intelligent investing in a religion.. i you can't provide a morally upright reason for the permission of evil without just having the deity pull rank and declare himself righteous, then i'm not really interested in hearing any more.. were i to listen, it would be out of morbid curiosity, not out of any intent to invest..

  I always think about this, if God exists he created the potential for sin. He created us, all of our emotions, everything that we COULD do. So any sin that exists, he created because by God all things were created. To me it's like giving your kid a gun, sticking the bullets on the table and being surprised when the kid ends up blowing his head off.

  i was once counseled for not shaving after two days.

  it's true because it happened to me last night.

  i knew it was trouble when she started looking at my kindle.

  once she got to the short stories i wrote 3 years ago, autobiographical, some of it involving her, i knew i wouldn't be going to bed before 1:00 (it was 11:40 p.m. by then).
