A sad realization I came to about the people in the organization. Essentially, I haven't changed, and they haven't changed. That means they've always been that way. It's sad to think that people that come off as so loving were really two-faced the whole time.

when will i taste freedom?
by Evidently Apostate infor all those that have been able to rescue thier loved ones from this religion the feeling of freedom and security must feel incredible no matter what outside influence attacks you it must be easier to fend off with a family united.
i am not one of those situations and i am always dancing around the truth about the truth with my wife.
she can turn on the blinders and question me and level blanket statements like" you dont belive in an armageddon" or "your a completely different person than you were a year ago".

If they are genderless, why do the angels have beards and other manly features.

It's apparent why they didn't come in and mess with Noah and his gang... they know kung fu and Noah has previously beaten them up.

Here's something I thought of, is there a JW outlawwing of the holiday Festivus? It doesn't have a pagan origin so... I say all JW's should get the pole out of the crawl space and let their family know how they really feel.

Facebook makes people you don't see very often more real
by sabastious insocial networks have their pros and cons, but overall i really enjoy them.
it lets you peer into the window of the lives of people you care about that live too far away to have a regular relationship with.
you still feel connected.. -sab.

If they replace real interaction with you, with virtual interaction, how good of a friend are they really? Real friends will still be just as committed to you regardless of facebook.

WOULD I LIKE TO SEE A COPY OF THIS!!!!!!! Resurrection for those executed at Armageddon?
by GrandmaJones inquestionsfromreaders.
the answer to the second question of this section appearing in the november 15 issue drew many responses and further questionings.
without being dogmatic, it stated that it seemed scriptural to believe that children executed in jehovahs battle of armageddon would not be resurrected.

So God's going to kill kids just so he can resurrect them? Why kill them in the first place?

I'm with everyone else (almost), my last one. Like 3Mozzies, I didn't know it was my last at the time. Elders dragged me in the back to discuss me not pioneering anymore and I went for it and told them the honest truth. It felt so good to get that all off of my chest.

This is the first Christmas since I got out. I'm using this as therapy, a way to get myself into normal society. I bought presents for everyone in my department at work. I only have a few family members I can buy gifts for so I got something for each of them. It feels nice to give.
