  I was the weird kid in the class....

  .......because i was raised a jw and not allowed to do anything like birthday parties and the like.. i was ridiculed because i was dragged around on the 'ministry'(tm) and my class mates saw and laughed.. i wasn't allowed to go into school morning assembly even though it wasn't religious...just in case.....so i used to get beat up in the cloak room.. i tried to fit in but had too many guilt trips.. i now loathe the god concept and the gb!.

  I guess I had it easier. Never got beaten up becaus I was a JW but there was definitely a lot of ridicule.

  I remember a CO telling us during the pioneer school that it wasn't a big deal that the NWT writing committee put Jehovah in instead of just God. I didn't even think about that until just now.

  wtf is the wt doing to the minds of the brethren???.

  this morning i went to the post office at 7:50am to pick up a package.

  turns out the mail box section was open at 8am but the actual post office didn't open until 8:30am... rather than drive home and come back later i decided to get out my car and wait on a nearby park bench.

  Reminds me of that elder I ran into a few weeks ago. Just immediately goes into the whole thing about how great the Truth is. No real concern for how I'm doing except that I don't go to meetings or in service anymore.

  JWs exposed in Norway

  during the past week, 17 different articles on various practices of jws and comments to those, have been published on the web page of the norwegian equivalent of the bbc, nrk: http://www.nrk.no/nyheter/norge/1.8397366.

  in addition to this a special news programme with a discussion on sexual abuse and jw was broadcast on nrk2, and p1 contained an interview with an ex-jw on its weekly news summary programme.. it seems the expose is continuing..

  I think he was saying that it was just the USA in general is breeding mindless killers because there is no god in school. I knew people who went to Catholic schools who were miserable human beings.
