again,i want to tell you all how great it is to have you all here.its been an interesting year,with my mom moving in w/me permanently and dealing w/her leaving the jw's {at 83!!!

}.its been nice to come in here and read what yo are all up to,thanks to mr flipper and his beautiful mrs flipper,dreamgolfer and all of the others who have made this place so interesting for me.i think we are the true embodiment of what the dubs wish they had.unconditional frienmdship and support.so,i hope you all have a wonderful christmas,kwanza,festivus,or whatever,and remember,if anyone is ewver in maine?usa?let me know.id love to meet you!i live you all..even you,shamus!!!!!!lol!.

Catholicism: Having Sex with Your Wife Can Be Adulterous

pope john paul ii urged husbands "not to commit adultery with their wives by desiring sex for its mere pleasure and the satisfaction of instinct" (modras: 124, of 1980).. .

we weren't exactly expecting a sex positive response, but isn't it a tad over the top, and well, you know, wrong to say that sex with your wife could even possibly be adulterous?

the argument is that having sex for pleasure, rather than procreation, is against church doctrine, but how on earth is that adulterous?

Don't worry, the next time he wants to meet with you it won't be a one-on-one. He'll ask for a three-on-one. The two-on-one is always a set up to the three-on-one. This way they have two witnesses to your apostasy and can proceed with the JC. Getting him one-on-one was good but I suspect next time it will be multiple brothers.

no, i am not quoting the title of van halens greatest hits cd.. it is a statement of how successful the society has been in molding their "faithful and discreet slave" concept of total trustworthiness.. on one hand they deny that the faithful and discreet slave are infallible when it comes to revealing the words and commandments of god.

they have no position of "ex cathedra" as the pope claims to possess.

therefore they can "sometimes" be overzealous or have a misunderstanding on a matter.. however on the other hand they claim that these occasional missteps are very few and far between therefore we should award them the honor of trusting them to be the sole channel of gods communiques.. this came to mind because of a jw that i work with made this comment.

san francisco 49'ers vs the red hot seattle seahawks.... i am torn as a 49'er fan and a current 'hawks fan.. vegas is giving sf a 53-47% edge.

I've read The Hobbit several times as well as the LOTR books. Have seen the LOTR movies more times than I can count.

Saw The Hobbit. While I won't say it wasn't a great movie, I definitely think the LOTR movies were better. This movie seems to be revolving around prepping us for the next two movies.

Why most young/teen JW's are born-in's?

age 8-18 or maybe older.why won't you find young people or teens in the world who want to learn about the jw's without being taught by their parents?i mean c'mon guys we all know that the majority of the jw youth are jw's because their mothers,fathers or both told them about the org.any thoughts?.
