  HOW TO STOP MY GRANDMA FROM GOING OUT IN FIELD SERVICE TOMORROW? ANY IDEAS?

  okay so i have plans tomorrow and i need to be somewhere by 11:30 (meeting someone ;) ) and my grandma said she would take me but field service starts at 9 and we all know that no one gets home from field service until like 12 or 1 in the afternoon.

  any suggestions on how to stop her?

  is there anything i could hide from her that no witness would go out in service without?

  i'm doing the fade but i reckon my big mouth could get me dfd.

  i know plenty who've been dfd for fornication/adultery, but never met one dfd for speaking the truth.

  I refused to meet with the elders after I told them what I thought of the WT teachings (specifically focusing on 607). I'm sure if I had gone they would have moved forward with DF'ing for apostasy immediately after that.

  Josephus Does Write About Jesus Christ

  i just happen to have the complete works of josephus, right here in front of me.

  josephus wrote several books including the antiquities of the jews.

  chapter 3 under sedition of the jews against pontius pilate; concerning christ .... paragraph 3 quote : "now, there was about this time, jesus a wise man, if it be lawful to call him a man, for he was a doer of wonderful works, a teacher of such men as receive the truth with pleasure.

  I don't think anybody ever said Josephus didn't write about Jesus. Josephus never met Jesus. All he heard were second/third hand accounts.

  the bible teaches that jesus is the one mediator between god and all mankind [anthropon], but the organization teaches us that jesus christ, is not the mediator between jehovah god and all mankind.

  (the watchtower, 9/15/1993, p.22) the bible teaches that salvation is through jesus not an earthly organization under heaven.

  the organization matches jesus description.

  designs, there are more scriptures about Jesus being a mediator than there are about the Faithful and Discreet Slave yet those d-bags in Brooklyn have used it to justify an entire printing company.

  Any debate with JW's about Jesus being a mediator is pointless. The WT and the GB have replaced Jesus in the Watchtower religion.

  I am totally confoused who is the Faithful and Discreet Slave Class?

  i have been hearing and reading on websites about some "new light" jws are saying concerning the faithful and discreet slave class.

  it sounds like the same information they have been saying for years.

  i was always taught the faithful and discreet slave class is the annoited governing body members dispensing food at the proper time for the non annoited jws.

  It is almost like they are pulling stuff out of their ass and claiming authority over 7 million people by using one scripture that they clearly are misinterpreting. I mean, really? Something as important as who is dispensing the "food" during the last days and the Bible only has one scripture indicating it? Really?

  recently there was quite a buzz at the local hall of people applying to be a specially approved candidate to attend an international convention overseas.

  one person i knew applied to go to the assembly next year in south africa.

  she was elated to find she and her daughter-in-law were accepted for the south africa site.

  For the international convention in Germany we used the WT's pre-arranged stuff and with tours/hotels/some meals (came with tours)/airfare, I think we paid 2000 per person for a week. That didn't include restaurants we went to on our own as well as souvenirs and other stuff.

  Tomb Raider, I haven't played any of the Tomb Raiders since Tomb Raider Chronicles! I think I beat Tomb Raider 2 about 50 times.
