The book of Revelation prophesied conventions back in the early 1900's... but not in order.

I found something in Watchtower literature I can agree with.
by Indian Larry ini ran across this excerpt from studies in the scriptures vol iv.
in it russell rails on as to why you should not tie youreself to any organization.
in a way he unknowingly predicts how the watchtower would turn against real "truth seekers" in their own organization, (quite possible the only prediction he ever got correct) and then goes on to show how the deluded witness just can't see how they can have a relationship with christ without a earthly organization.. .

Yeah but the WT got new light so Russell was full of crap. Oh wait, he founded the religion? And the WT says that when we are deciding to celebrate holidays or join religions we should look at the origin of the religion? *HEAD EXPLODES*

Conspiracy Theorists Vindicated?
by metatron inhttp://www.blacklistednews.com/new_studies%3a_%e2%80%98conspiracy_theorists%e2%80%99_sane%3b_government_dupes_crazy%2c_hostile/27293/0/38/38/y/m.html.
actually, i think creating conspiracies is one of the primary products of modern government.
if citizens aren't responsible and involved enough, then crafted lies follow.. .

MrFreeze
The problem I have with most conspiracy theorists is that there is usually some level of truth to what they are saying... but then they go over the top and discredit themselves. The truth is usually somewhere in between the "official" story and the "conspiracy" story.

You Dont Have the Right to Remain Silent
by Simon insome more of your rights just went down the toilet:.
you dont have the right to remain silent.
as discussed in boston bomb investigators kill florida man the issue of confessions is extremely important.. this is more evidence of how dangerous it is to remove important safeguards in the legal justice system:.

That lawyers point is my exact point when people say the NSA spying on all of us isn't bad unless you have something to hide. Just because you don't have anything to hide, doesn't mean they won't use something you have done or said against you.

Are you kidding me? There is still a ton of stuff that is made with lots of human intervention. Only problem is all those jobs are shipped to places like Indonesia and China because "job creators" aren't interested in creating jobs in America.

by outofthelionsden intalk about doing a 180* change!!
my husband after much thought went and passed for the police academy.
never would i have ever imagined my jw husband now becoming a police officer.
-
MrFreeze
That's awesome! Tell him to not let it go to his head.
There was a sister in our circuit whose husband was a cop. I was pretty young at the time, maybe 6 or 7. He would come to the assemblies and I'd always say "Officer Mike, are you packin' heat?"

The UNFORGIVABLE Sin: What Is It?
by Cold Steel injesus said: .
verily i say unto you, all sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: but he that shall blaspheme against the holy ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.
(mark 3:28-29).

Blaspheming is a victimless crime.
