There are many silly doctines and viewpoints.
One of the strangest ones is the blood doctrine.

We know the Society are imperfect, but if you don't treat them as perfect, you are mentally diseased and an agent of Satan.
That Jesus came down to earth invisibly in 1918 and selected them from all the worlds religions as his channel. Think about this way, the way JW's did things in 1918 would be considered apostate by JW standards today. So in essence they are no longer doing things in the way that was supposedly approved by Jesus if one were to actually believe that cow pie.
Another STUPID belief is EVERY view, from the Bible Students to the Jws, that The Faithful & Discreet Slave is either C T Russell, all anointed ones left on earth or their current view of only the GB.... Why not recognize it just as a parable???
For me, the blood doctrine.
It goes like this:
Blood? NO NO NO
Blood parts? NO NO NO
Parts of blood parts? Sure, no problem
The 'overlapping' generation(s).....
1914.
I never understood the math or why the math worked or how they even came up with the math. From that it trickles down.
Banning Smurfs and Casper the friendly ghost.
The most absurd JW belief or view? Everything the religion/cult believes in.
> That their leaders shy away from being called "inspired of God" while boasting that they are the only spirit-directed religious organization on earth.
