Just yesterday, I was very disappointed and sad when a coworker that I worked with for all of 4 months moved out of town, to the other side of the country. It was someone I got really close to and she is just an awesome person (no nothing sexual, she was just a great friend). That was someone I only knew for 4 months. I can't imagine losing a friend I've had for years. Oh wait, that's right I've had that happen to, all because of the WT. Then again at least with my coworker friend, there is a good chance I'll actually get to hang out with them again.

I just witnessed my mother and step father put the end to a friendship my 9 year old sister had with a "worldly" person. It was heartbreaking. This is someone she has been friends with for a few years and all of a sudden it's a problem now? This girl she was friends with is a good kid. She actually invites her along to activities unlike her so-called friends at the KH who routinely forget to include her on fun activities. They used some really stupid logic too. One example she used was of a neighbor friend my mom was studying with, her husband found out and flipped out, now she's not allowed to talk with my mother about the Bible. So she said now she doesn't hang out with her anymore and that the husband was wrong for flipping out on her. Woah, wait a second. Isn't that exactly what my mom did? Refusing to allow association with this person based on religion. Except he was more lenient because he only cared if they talked religion. It just irritates me sometimes. How many times do people lose friends that care more about them outside of the "Truth" than in the KH? Ugh, it just boils my blood.

So what if he's gay? He has facial hair below the mouth and that's a sin.

Meeting experience
by gutted inthis weeks service meeting was typical.. "where were you?
" "i'm concerned about you".
then the typical song and dance of the parts/talks, all recycled notions of doing better in the service.

I don't know Bane, I really have a feeling at least half the people put on a fake smile and go because they don't want to lose family or friends.

This morning I helped someone move. Compared to getting up and going out in service, it was heaven. 7 hours of moving > 2 hours of field service.

Flirting - WT style (Sept 15 WT)
by undercover inin the september 15th wt koolaid edition, the study article "christian unity glorifies god" in paragraph 10 this is stated:.
"the immoral world in which we live threatens our unity.
people joke about fornication, sing about it, watch it for entertainment, and practice it either in secret or openly.

Maybe the GB has watched too much Cinemax at 2 am. They think every time a male and a female get together they are gonna go all hardcore on one other all while cheesy music plays in the background.

I sang the b-day song in the first time of my life today. The WT still has a hold on me. I felt very guilty about doing it, like an elder would come around the corner and see me doing it.
C'mon I talk to women in my office all day like that. I'm always joking around and keepin the conversation light. I guess that's considered flirting.

I'm not gonna lie, I like looking at porn. I also enjoy doing the solo trombone. I bet there are few brothers in any hall who doesn't give himself a workout each evening before bed... Sorry to be so blunt, but it had to be said.

September 15th Watchtower is making me feel literally ill
by sd-7 in...i can't believe how loaded it is with all manner of arrogance, organizational chest-thumping/idolatry, and i still haven't gotten to the last article yet!
i know...i shouldn't be reading it.
i just...need to know what's going on so i can at least know what's going into my family's heads.

Just because somebody partakes doesn't mean they are "anointed". Well, obviously. There was a sister in my hall who never claimed to be anointed but always took the emblems. They HAVE to count them. Even though she was obviously very much insane.
