I Am Tired Of Hearing People Becoming So Racially Divisive!
by minimus intrayvon/zimmerman....it's all about race....that's what some people keep saying.
you criticize the president, and you are against blacks.
you talk about illegal aliens and you hate mexicans.
-
MrFreeze
Bringing up race when it has nothing to do with the problem at hand, is in itself a form of racism.

The most he could have gotten was manslaughter. The prosecution did a pretty lousy job.
You can't convict someone with a lack of evidence according to the way the law is interpreted. There was no proof that it wasn't in self defense. That's a problem with the law, not the jurors. Same thing with Casey Anthony, you couldn't prove who was responsible so you couldn't get a guilty verdict. That's the way the justice system is. People need to get their emotions out of the way and actually look at the facts of the case.

What I've noticed in my work experience is that companies are more than willing to fire people and dump their workload on to other employees. This happened to me. I already had my hands full but all of a sudden I get a whole other jobd dumped on me, on top of the one I already had to do.

Whilst a JW did you play the National Lottery & would you have donated anything if you'd won?
by abbasgreta ini played for a couple of years as part of a syndicate.
(naughty me hehe!
) didn't see it as gambling but as purely a game of chance.

I worked at a convenience store. My dad instilled in me the dangers about gambling. He used to own a store that had poker machines. One day he saw a man come in and spend his entire paycheck he just cashed next door in his machine. The guilt overcame him and he got rid of the machines.
While I have no problem with people spending a dollar here and there, it pains me to see people spend a lot of money on things like the three digit/four digit number drawings, especially when it was clear they really didn't have the money to be spending on it. I still don't play the lottery, even after leaving the JW's.
Although it does make me wonder why JW's are allowed to work at convenience stores when they sell cigarettes and lottery, but can't work at a casino.

What Is The Most Absurd JW Belief or View?
by minimus inthere are many silly doctines and viewpoints.. one of the strangest ones is the blood doctrine.. why anyone could logically accept this belief is beyond reason..

The book of Revelation prophesied conventions back in the early 1900's... but not in order.

I found something in Watchtower literature I can agree with.
by Indian Larry ini ran across this excerpt from studies in the scriptures vol iv.
in it russell rails on as to why you should not tie youreself to any organization.
in a way he unknowingly predicts how the watchtower would turn against real "truth seekers" in their own organization, (quite possible the only prediction he ever got correct) and then goes on to show how the deluded witness just can't see how they can have a relationship with christ without a earthly organization.. .

Yeah but the WT got new light so Russell was full of crap. Oh wait, he founded the religion? And the WT says that when we are deciding to celebrate holidays or join religions we should look at the origin of the religion? *HEAD EXPLODES*
