How many millions of Christians were there from the founding of Christianity to 1900? Millions upon millions. There had to have been at least 144,000 "true" Christians in that time frame.

I think it's in the Elder's book or one of the books that dictate how the meetings are run. Perhaps a BOE letter. I remember going over this information in a ministerial servants and elders meeting. Perhaps it was the OD book?

It is a written rule. As long as the speaker doesn't have to leave before the end of the Watchtower study.

I think their position in the Revelation Grand Climax book is that there were always "Jehovah's Witnesses" throughout the last 2,000 years. But they were a very small minority.
