scully,
all nigerians aren't scammers and look for a free ride, that's like saying all jews are cheats, all blacks are lazy, and all whites are racist and all muslims blow up planes. Yes there are scammers in nigeria and it's very unfortunate that she didn't do her home work. But don't let that cloud your judgement in respect to individuals.
being raised in the jehovah's witnesses for 44 years ( exited 7 years ago ) - i observed many different variables that made each witness tick or operate.
but one of the most common variables was witnesses wanting to excel in progressing to positions becoming elders, ministerial servants, or pioneers because then and only then would they be looked at as allegedly " spiritual " or closer to jehovah.
but i learned as years went by that having a " position " in the congregation didn't make a person anymore " spiritual " or closer to god than witnesses who were not in appointed positions.. myself- having been appointed a ministerial servant at the tender baby age of 20 yrs.
I was told that i wasn't progressing fast enough as a bible student, and that after 4 yrs i should now be ready to make my dedication to jehovah even thought i was an unbaptisted publisher i would still be destroyed if i didn't get baptised.
I thought my baptism would be between me and jehovah to decide year five i stopped attending recieved a few shepparding calls until i started showing them things from their own books that didn't make sense the elders don't like you to stand up to them and i didn't at the hall cause that was their turf.
but when they came to my house different story cause they don't pay no bills up in this house.
people, please don't be angry at me, but do you sometimes ask yourselves this question?
i do..
Off some where getting married
be careful of the meat you eat in due season given out by the governing body, it might make you sick.. such as: on pg 133 in "reasoning from the scriptures" it says: if any individuals or organizations claim to represent god but decline to use god's personal name, and make it a practice to express their own opinions on matters, are they measuring up to this important qualification of a true prophet?".
the watchtower organization claim to be gods only channel on earth.
they use jehovahs personal name.
Deuteronomy 18: 21-22
Is the scripture that best describes a false prophet, and yet this is the very one they DELIBERATLEY leave out in the chapter under FALSE PROPHETS on page 132 in the "REASONING from the SCRIPTURES" book.

The Watchtower Organization claim to be Gods only channel on earth. They use Jehovahs personal name. And they claim they don't use their own personal opinion on matters, but hold strickly to Bible principles.
Yet when their prophesies did not come to pass, according to their qualifications of a prophet. does this make them false ?
In the sept 15, 2010 watchtower, on page 13 paragragh 8 in the last sentence it is stated that this come from God not man.
Now read Dueteronomy 18:21-22
hello- i'm arguing with my parents now... well, call it debating.
i'm trying to give them a question they'll actually think about- something that will make them want to do more research.
a question (or questions), that if right, will make them reconsider whether they are in the "truth".... .
confliction, be carefull when talking to you parents and only show them things in the watch tower literature that can prove your point

I would most definitly use what mentally free used. also i would show them Things in the" reasoning from the scriptures book"
such as on page 234, where it says that the generation of 1914 will not pass away.
then on page 242, on the top it confirms this by stating if God required that we wait for another generation, there would be few survivors, and God purpose that there be survivors, thats how they know the end is near.
now they changed it with new light says the 1914 generation won't be the one to see it but, people who's lives overlaped will see the end.
even if they tell you the light gets brighter asked them why would God make a promise to the 1914 generation and take it back
and if they say God is working through imperfect men ask them why would a God who cannot lie tell them false information
and if they it's a time of testing ask them them with all thes changes haven't the org been tested enough.
BTW reasoning from the scriptures is a book they still use FOR NOW
i hear quite a bit of criticism about jehovah's witnesses enforcing 1 corinthians 5:9-13. while jehovah's witnesses have a formal system of maintaining the organization's core values; egocentric, self-worshiping secularists have an informal system of rejecting those of whom they have nothing in common with.

most major religions have believed in the existence of a supernatural realm, a realm beyond the natural world of physical objects and bodies governed by causal laws, the world we perceive with our senses and can study by rational methods.
Palmtree says: "Until she gets real help wth her mental illness, it will be IMPOSSIBLE to reason with her. Incidentally, manipulation of others is a prominent trait of certain mental disorders and she exhibits it very well here."
