  Many religions have teachings that imply the above thing.

  JWGood: I have also studied their history - just to make sure we are on the same page, you agree that jehovahs witnesses falsely predicted that David, Abraham, etc. would rise from the dead in 1925, that jesus returned invisibly in 1874 and all nations would cease to be in 1920?

  They wrote again and again there was no bacteria, that organ transplants was canibalism and other pseudo-science

  That the pyramid of Giza was "the second witness" (the bible being the first), and it was made by jehovah to show how his great plan worked? (the plan being russels chronology that was later completely dropped)

  Yes. I know the above facts. I have the 7 volumes of "Millenium Dawn" and a PDF of "Millions now living will never die" and of "Pyramid Passages" with me from where I have come across the dates.

  Please forgive me, If I am ever rude in my posts. I have a great interest in this religion. As of now, its 3:20 AM in India. I am going to sleep. I'll catch up on this tommorrow.

  Jehovahs witnesses do good things, i am not trying to take that away from them. But they have predicted the end of the world a couple of times, and have later falsified their history to cover it. Their blood policy is completely bunk, and they teach they was taught by jesus in 1918, but that data requires jerusalems fall being in 607bc, a date which has abselutely zero evidence in support of it, and a lot of evidence against it, both scriptual and archeological. Read the site i have linked and try to find just one error in it. the author frequent this forum and i am certain he will correct his site if you succeed.

  I have been in touch with JW's since my school days. Had some of them as my close friends. Have much their literature with me (old and new - in my PC, through other sources on the internet.) Have studied them too. My friend and I have lots of discussion on these matters. But it doesnt make any difference for him.

  Due my research, I know the above doctrines of JW's very well. I am myself a christian, though not belonging to any christian church. I am independent.

  Yeah, giving money to poor folks is not being Christ-like

  Not to argue over here.

  After learning to read and write, my friend has a job on which he can survive.

  Some of the poor folks over here dote on these christian missionaries. A particular sum per month attracts them to their church. When missionaries are gone, the misery starts again.

  Here, in India, other Christian missionaries claim to preach the kingdom of God. But what? Giving out money to the poor and telling them to come to their church? None of them know to read or write. Neither do they know who Jesus is..let alone the kingdom of God.

  Not seen such with the JW's living over here. They have reached with their preaching to areas where no christain group have reached. They have taught people how to read and write. I have seen illiterate people studying with them. Many people have benefitted secularly by associating with them. My friend is one of them.

  Here, they have reached places where the internet would never reach in this century at least, and have literature in majority of the official languages in India.

  (sorry for my english.. it is my second language)

  From morning till evening he explained and declared to them the kingdom of God

  Boldly and without hindrance he preached the kingdom of God

  May be you read this. Are you doing it?

  For all of you:- I am not a JW, but a member of an NGO. Have a close friend who is an active JW. Preparing a project on them. Sad to see the bias over here.
